After 2 days of using CM9, even my IMEI was gone, I feel like I'm in the heaven. Now I understand the real meaning of "full android experience".
Samsung, I like your body, but not your heart. |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Jul 29 2012, 09:00 PM) not that. I think I posted about losing IMEI in a few posts back.you said you lost your IMEI, thats a bad thing, very bad thing why are you happy over lost IMEI? Lol at first I also very sad until want suicide when I realize I deleted original efs in attempt to recover IMEI back. Luckily the WIFI and network all still works (With fake imei). And this is why I flashed CM9 when I realize my phone warranty is gone. And yeah I know how bad it is. Should I sad forever for this? This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jul 29 2012, 10:48 PM |

QUOTE(Omochao @ Jul 29 2012, 10:49 PM) Actually the case is like this. When I copied efs folder, I put in external sd. Then copied another one at desktop. I deleted the efs in external SD. Then I deleted original efs in root section and restarted the phone. Android then auto generate the folder. But when I looked back to desktop, I realize PC didn't copy the hidden files!!! OMG!! The key file is hidden one. Then I stopped. I know I failed... Actually I am following this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264021 For those who don't know what am I talking about, please see this. I don't think I can use back the ".nv_data.bak" that is auto generated by Android, ask it it is fake one also... This post has been edited by ZRong223: Jul 29 2012, 11:04 PM |

Those who are having battery drain problem, full charge your battery while your device in off condition. When full charged, take out your battery for 3 minutes meanwhile y'all can clean up your phone then switch on as usual. Best practice 3 cycle full charged your battery. If the problem still persist, install betterbatterystats v1.9.0 from xda, dump file and attach here let me have a look.
EDIT: Make sure before dump, your phone used the battery until 1%-5% left. This post has been edited by nehalem176: Jul 29 2012, 11:09 PM |
