You are working in the Biomedical sector and the list below could be incomplete. Are these Biomedical-related courses on hot demand in Malaysian market?

So far, I haven't seen the sales personnel is listed as one of Biomedical Engineering job prospects.

This isn't entirely true because one of my Malaysian acquaintances named Adi (25+ yo), has invented a
Multifunction Disposable Safety Syringe, called AD Syringe (AD = “Auto-Disable”). This product is marketed by
Selia-Tek Medical Sdn Bhd, and currently sold in Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Middle East under the brand called “SOL-JECT® AD Syringe”. This patent-pending product is filed under World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) with Pub. No. [
WO/2013/009166].

Thanks alot for the listed universities There's actually 3 different courses within the same field of Biology as what you have stated (1) biomedical (2) biotech (3) engineering-electronic related. I came from (1). I used to work in the hospital and I have seen these people doing follow up in the laboratory once in a while. They could be a biomedical grad, biotech or bio engineering. I've tons of friends working as a sales personnel in the pharmaceutical industry. From what I can conclude generally, there's limited job available for the bio-industry. Even if there is, the pay sucks.
That friend of yours is one in a million (just a figure of speech here). He's lucky to have his invention successfully sold. But honestly, tell me, out of the thousands grad in this field, how many can actually have this "luck"? Do you have such amount of time to work on the research till you manage to get it market? If money is not your concern, by all means go ahead and spend all your time in the research. In the end, it all goes back to the individual I guess. Anyway, this is only my personal opinion and observation.
