guys..buy online or buy from fellow forumers in lyn or buy online is up to u guys..i dont wanna judge anyone..but there's few item i need to highlight..

If u want to buy online but try ur sizing in local boutique is unethical..yes u can save a lot buying online..but put urself in the place of the owner of denim boutique itself..some of them just wanna earn profit eg breadnbutter(business off course need to gain profit)..some of them gain a lil bit of profit since they open a boutique, they need to pay rental, electricity, staff wages etc..take a look at musa and actually..they are having hard time selling denim nowaday..even kiya also complain customer come to selfedge to try fitting..end up not buying anything and come back a week later with the same jeans buying from another place..if u prefer to buy online..just buy and dont bother to trouble those staff in breadandbutter etc..if u found the size is not up to ur liking..just resell back ur jeans to be appreciated by other denim lovers

Another thing is..actually those denim manufacturers actually keep an eye on our local denim scene..how much the demand..our buying power etc..if they see our local boutique stop their business one by one..there's no way any premium denim will open it's business here in the next few years..taavi kuisma from nordicdenimhouse also have the same thought about this when i ask him if there is any chance of opening momotaro store in msia..

Last but not least..pls support local business unless item that u need to buy is not available here..me and fellow forumers here always have thoughts about opening the very first premium denim store in msia..but some people just prefer to buy online even  the price about the same compared to buying locally..which made me think twice about this plan

Yeah it's ur money and it's up to u where u gonna spend it..im just saying..dont bother about it if u dont really care

@chaz, i still think its a decent idea to open a premium idea store in msia and its do-able.

i think the fact that buying online have more gimmicks or little stuff is the attraction.. regular coupon codes, authenticity guaranteed, occasional free gifts , fast shipping and security(i did buy something from kloop and it reach me in 2 days! ) i'll gladly admit that i buy most of the denim online because its cheaper by quite a margin. although i hv not visited musa, but hv seen what the prices are like. all i can say is if i really have the dough i"ll support them. but i think i can say for most ppl that buying even n&f online instead of musa can save easily rm200-300 sometimes? so that might be the main reason why for denim business, online buying still the preferred choice.
*
yes i also buy things online..but as i said in previous post..dont try fitting in musa or b&b or sat or actually..then buy online and come back to store a week later trolling them by wearing the same exact jeans..

Opening a premium denim store in msia still a long way to go..i think first thing to do..one should own an union special machine over here

Just spot a nice selvedge Lee 101 in endcloting.com , but unfortunately they did not have shipping to
Malaysia. Just email them and they told that they camnot ship any goods to Malaysia. Guys any online retailer for selvedge jeans?
*
endclothing used to ship to msia..and yes recently they stop to deliver to msia..and website cannot browse using msian proxy..lots of credit card fraud cases from msia..so i guess another big online retailer banned us..

Greetings guys,

I have been recently looking to buy another pair of jeans and decided to switch to a different brand from Levi's. Came across hugo boss's denim collection and I got to say that they look perfect. Went over to gardens the other day and they were selling their straight fit black colored jeans for about RM750. Is it worth to get it from them or are there any other similar brands that I should look at. Looking for jeans with a waist measurement of about 36. Thanks in advance.

read from 1st page and u'll get the idea..

QUOTE(poyo @ Sep 25 2012, 04:34 PM)
Hi guys. I've just bought a pair of Tarik Jeans purple selvage jeans. I've only wore it for about 13 hours, sadly I find that the waist line is about 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch off ( i prefer to wear my jeans a bit closer to my belly button level ), and right now, it's a bit too low for my taste. is it possible for me to shrink just the waist line via the hot water method ( hot water in a bucket, and I place only the waist line area of the denim in the water with Woolite Dark ), or do I have to send it off for a waist line reduction via sewing? If I have to choose the sewing method, frankly speaking, I don't want it to be sent to a sewing shop who will screw up the jeans. So if the sewing method is the preferred way to reduce the waist line, I really hope you fellas can point me the shop who can do a damn good job lol, preferably in K.L / Kajang / Subang / P.J. Thanks guys!
*
i believe they use sanforized denim so shrinkage will be minimal even if you soak with boiling water..and what's up soaking it with woolite dark? I dont think it will enhance the shrinking process..and from my point of view, the true purpose of wearing raw jeans is to see the beautiful fading process upon wears, and using woolite will ensure minimal indigo loss..

Corrected. Buying from uk normally dont use usps which is usa postal service. Using ups is more likely to be the correct courier
