Now happy with my case-mate tough case + SGP Ultra Clear Nano screen protector, oleophobic coating helps screen clear compared to ultra crystal. Now for my NFC tags to arrive and stop spending money on S3 accessories for now haha.

and after I spent money buying the ultra clear nano myself, I got this email~~~ damn QUOTE Dear Valued Customer, Hello, this email is from Customer Service at CreTouch SGP ebay. Thank you for your recent purchase of the Steinheil Ultra Crystal for your Samsung Galaxy S3. We hope you have been enjoying the Ultra Crystal! We would like to inform you that shortly after the release of the Steinheil Ultra Crystal, we introduced a new screen protector called the Steinheil Ultra Nano Clear. This is the first screen protector type from our Ultra Nano Series and we would like to send the Ultra Nano Clear to our Galaxy S3 Ultra Crystal customers.

QUOTE(awsc777 @ Jul 4 2012, 11:13 AM) would you be interested to sell the one you bought then? I'm interested. If ever, do PM me I would sell it to you guys, but unfortunately I'm studying in Australia. There won't be much difference in posting time if you were to get it from me or buy it online yourself.

QUOTE(farscope @ Jul 4 2012, 01:58 PM) and yet everyday i still see ppl complaining about how bad is the battery life of S3. just be thankful it is not as crappy as One X and it is replaceable. Those who claimed draining battery better check your apps and signal strength. I want as much battery as the Motorola RAZR MAXX hahaha XP

I'd still prefer the ultra nano clear rather than that curved crystal from SGP since it doesn't seem like the curved crystal has an oleophobic layer like the nano clear so it'll be a fingerprint magnet like the ultra crystal which is very annoying to me. My case mate tough already covers the part of the screen that's not covered by the screen protector anyway so no fuss.

QUOTE(farscope @ Jul 7 2012, 11:19 AM) My phone's an Aussie phone but I flashed a UK ROM onto it since day 1 since you can't silent the camera click in stock aussie rom no matter what you do (without root etc.) so I follow UK updates now haha.

QUOTE(Long88 @ Jul 7 2012, 11:59 AM) another thing i noticed. on uk latest firmware. i got 100% battery stay after unplug the charger. (last time mine never stay 100% after unplug the charger) haha. i dont mind about that much. but good news for those are worrying I was using the previous UK ROM and it stayed on 100% after charging back then as well. Guess only early stock ROMs has that issue (if you consider it one)

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jul 7 2012, 12:16 PM) Spent RM75 on a SGP FlexHD. 1 week later, SGP releases a dry-application full-front coverage screen protector. SGP really needs to get their crap together lol something better always comes out, no use fussing about it.

QUOTE(firstknight @ Jul 7 2012, 12:58 PM) http://www.epiccm.org/2012/06/why-not-exfat.htmllooks like i have to reformat and go fat instead... what you all thing?? exFAT is superior to FAT32, that much is very certain. As long as your using a ROM that supports exFAT like the stock ROM etc. there's nothing to worry about. If you want to use CM later on, then you don't have much choice but to reformat to FAT32 don't you and I need it for large files.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 7 2012, 01:23 PM) Why buy those screen protector? nowadays 99% phone is using gorilla screen, even is not, also kind of scratch resistance. That is the reason, screens are scratch resistant and not scratch proof. Metal keys might not scratch gorilla glass since they are soft but something as common as sand which is harder than gorilla glass will easily scratch the screen.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jul 7 2012, 02:07 PM) Your want make it scratch is harder than let it not scratch actually. (Don't told me purposely scratch on sand surface, you not using the phone for doing this). You obviously never had your phone fall and slide on some floor that has some sand on it or have sand enter your cloth at the beach. Sand is not something that's uncommon in a lot of places. There's a lot of examples of gorilla glass getting scratched out there so it's not like it's something uncommon and isolated cases. Your happy with no screen protector, hey that's your choice, but you can't deny having a screen protector on provides better protection for the screen.
