as always: Right click item -> find similar item in AH

i did, but there was not really a similar one.
i notice the ones with VIT are sellling for higher price range =(
but on the other hand very few of these orbs comes with the wiz dmg for shock pulse.
from what i know, a lot of wizards are using either lightning/shock pulse type of spell.
altho the regen is not high, at least it has a socket, hope i can sell it off. not rly hoping for high price haha i've already quit my wiz anyway.

Most wizards in inferno do not use shock pulse type except for me and a few others who used living lightning spell though we still like chantodo massive speed.

Yeah, the reason why the Vit is high because it complements what Tal Rasha helm gives (10%+ to life) and also Tal Rasha Amulet.

Sold for 25m gold. Guess some ppl are crazy about stats, not just AR.

I'm asked to help with price check here. But prices change everyday, every 2 hour there's a 1% drop of price in every item, and for someone to know the prices of every single item is kinda impossible, I only know about 1/4 of the categories which I know the price by single glance, nothing much I could help, but I'll give a tip here for you guys to understand more about pricing.

The very basic -
- Insert the main stat at the AH and search for it, therefore you'll see the cheapest buyout is around your item price.

What main stat?
-Str/Dex/Int.
-LoH
-Crit %
-Crit dmg
-Vit
-All resist
-Atk spd %
-Mf
and such... too many leh = =
.

Ok how to know the exact price of it?

Let say you have a rare shoulder -

190 dex
58 vit
65 all resist
40 fire resistance
6 pickup radius
15 magic find.

When u insert all this u'll prolly see none of the shoulder have this kind of stat.

So lets insert the main stat.

190 dex
50 vit (don't insert 58 cause people don't do that, they insert whole number when they're looking for item to buy)
60 all resist

You'll see pages of the same or higher stat, you'll then know the price at the cheapest buyout
You'll see that the cheapest one might be around 8m, but you might wanna put 7m cause you're racing against time, price drop each hour so u might wanna have it sold fast.
but what about the other non-main stat? you'll have to use your knowledge here.

first of all. Fire/cold/arcane/pyhsical/poison resistance aren't useless, monks uses them and some players need them, so when u have these kind of resistance +25% of the item price.

so 7m(25%)
= roughly 9m.

Then 6 pickup radius, do you know that pickup radius is a rare stat? a normal stat legendary that is 2m could become 10m with just that stat added, but that is legendary, this is rare. +80% if rare and 400% if legendary.

so 9m(80%)
= 16m

and lastly magic find, people aren't very fond of magic find nowadays but some people still looks for it. for 10-15mf add 50% price and 15-19 add 75% if 20mf add 200%.

so 16m(50%)
= 24m is the real price of the item. I'm not a teacher so I'm not good with teaching, but I hope u guys can understand even a bit.

Ok, insert the main stats.

let say you find it around 100m.

sell it for 100m, after no 2 hour, no buyer. put 2.5% lower, repeat this step until it is sold.

Cause if your item isn't sold within the first 2 hour means your item are around 80-120% of the original price. If it's not then it's 150% or higher than normal.

And the probility of your item to get sold is higher when it is at 1day12h or 1day11hour.

6% = 40 vit
and so on until

12%(max) = 120 vit.

example. Hellcat waistguard (a belt)

220 dex.
80 vit
8% life

the price is equal to

220 dex and 140 vit.

TYVM Ryperer, your knowledge and insight into item value in AH really helped me a lot.
I've been second guessing myself trying to price items and most of the time end up pricing it low (hope many ppl will bid n raise the price). If i dont clear my stash will be full and too lazy to keep transfer to mule toons.
Yesterday out of fatigue/sleepiness i just simply price all the items i wanted to sell at same starting bid (30k) only after i looked again on my item on auction (to see which is selling) i realised that the bracers i just put up shud be worth more. So i posted a screenshot of it at a diablo3 forum, informing that im selling a good rare bracers for cheap in AH. 1 hr later the current bid went up 2000% from 30k to 600k. So some promo on certain top d3 sites does help boost sales.



Item still available in Gold AH (US Server), current bid 660K 11hr left (ehehe promo sum more)

4% = 20 vit
5% = 30 vit
6% = 40 vit
7% = 50 vit
8% = 60 vit
9% = 70 vit
10% = 80 vit
11% = 90 vit
12% = 100 vit

how 12% (max) = 120 vit???
