Hey guys, I'm not a Sager/Clevo onwer but wish to be one someday in the near future. If everything goes well, I'll be getting one this coming October. And if I'm not mistaken, the sound quality through headphones in NP9150 isn't good enough for most people. Are there any fixes for the lack of bass when using the headphone jack? I saw a post somewhere, in another forum, installing THX and changing some setting worked, anyone tried before?
Hi ssassassa,Understood your concern of sound quality.
The NP9150 is using on-board sound system. You are advised to purchase an usb sound card for better sound quality.

was about to place an order on NP9150 from Illegear when I realized the free memory and hdd offer has already ended this evening (it was still there yesterday night).
And with the spec I want I have to pay extra RM 500 to RM 600
.
Am rethinking of getting it now...
Guys.. regarding Xoticpc.. what made you (for those who opt to buy from them) decide to get your lappy from them instead of going with illegear.

Sorry of hearing that actually.
We just received the latest dealer price list yesterday and found that Sager increased the price of 7970M and GTX680M by about USD50~100, and also few increment on HDD and RAM prices. Although they are offering $100 discounts for orders exceeding certain amount, but actually this leads to slightly higher total price even though it looks like some sort of promotional discount offer.
Totally understood how you felt as a consumer. Therefore, I have send you an email that we can offer you the previous promotion (free HDD and RAM upgrades) and prices. Do let us know how you think.

Yeah, the PSU of NP9150/NP9130 are pretty common. You can actually purchase the replacement adapter everywhere as long as the voltage is the same. However, for NP9170, the head of the PSU (220W) is very rare.
