QUOTE(polarzbearz @ Jul 3 2012, 11:25 PM) Had similar issue, which the TM's contractor FFK'd me two weeks ago. Just lodge your complain to forum + call them. If ineffective, add a CFM complain and they will suddenly, be very efficient. At least mine works. Takes them forever to reschedule an appointment but immediately after my CFM complaint, they do things "quickly" thanks for your advice, i already called + cfm report them with case number, One thing I still dislike is that, they are still avoiding responsibilities by simply telling me. Sir, I understand but we cannot help you as it its TM's staff. Seriously I know it's TM staff but Maxis should really do better in scheduling management, which in fact they did well with customers (At least 3 to 4 calls to remind me of the installation date), why not with contractors as well? Added on July 3, 2012, 10:32 pmOh I almost forget, anyone tried to call International numbers using the deck phone? Can't find the + (plus sign), not sure how to dial international numbers without it |

ok my router supports both ap and wireless bridge mode. in ap mode, does it means i need an ethernet connection? i would like to acheive a repeater kind of mode. if ap mode can work as wireless then it solves my problem.

QUOTE(ckh83 @ Jul 21 2012, 10:42 PM) I able to access those website after few days cant access now like yesasia.con. good news, but just wonder what maxis fix since my call never reach maxis cs. This very easy to solve, use google dns.Added on July 21, 2012, 10:23 pm QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jul 21 2012, 08:10 PM) I sometimes use portable TP-Link TL-WR702N Nano router to create a bridge extension of Wifi signal at weak signal area. In bridge mode, your will have second SSID broadcasted by TP-Link and this is good for visiting guest. (At least my Thomson router gateway is protected from unauthorized log in) In client mode can i access my network printers? say my com is connected to thompson network and printer is connected to this TL-WR702N Nano router? How would you rate this device? The Nano router when in bridge mode is portable and it can easily plugged to any power point or portable USB battery bank. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by mackioes: Jul 21 2012, 11:32 PM |

Added on July 22, 2012, 2:41 pm QUOTE(ahsiah @ Jul 22 2012, 12:39 PM) I subscribed rm118 package, although I face little problem with the router, but I feel happy that I subscribed ontime. No regret. When u use the nano router I believe it's USB powered so can the Thompson power it? Win !At the moment, I have put on a notebook cooler at the bottom of the router and turned off the wifi. Planning to offload wifi to the TP-link nano AP. so far so good. Added on July 22, 2012, 2:47 pm QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jul 22 2012, 01:57 AM) where u buy rm55? Most of this problem come from the router, so I suggest changing a router such as Asus or tp link.

i just tried thestar and i middle click as many link as i can. (about 10 tabs or more) Every page loads within a few sec but no hang or freezes. i use firefox. My only complain is when some streaming website such as dailymotion where sometimes buffering stops and i have to refresh the page. Imo this should buffer really fast.
Added on July 23, 2012, 6:22 pmAlso, signal and latency keeps fluctuating when i am gaming. (My guess this is due to the router) This post has been edited by mackioes: Jul 23 2012, 06:22 PM |
