well u can complain to maxis, i cant help u further in this. I only report what i tested. Since i ve never used Unifi i really cant compared. But i agree streamyx has been more stable when head to head with maxis.

Added on July 23, 2012, 7:07 pmwell atleast for me the experience of using maxis seems bearable after switching from streamyx. If your is not good u should complain to maxis untill they solve your case.

Page 1 doesn't have it, I remember searching for it in page 1 lol.

And yeah I tried 192.168.1.1 before asking and it didn't work.

But I think I gotta set the address at TCP/IP properties.
*
tm has Huawei 850a fireawalled so u wont be able to access it. if u tried rebooting the modem and keep refreshing with the 192.168.1.1 address then u might see the login page for a few sec then firewall takeover and connection dc.

Do u guys think the router with the phone is quite inconvenient? I mean all 3 device has to be at the same place. My modem upstairs, but I want the phone at living room. So if the router can work as ap mode then it would be nice.

Meaning more cabling? What cable is that call? The optic cable ones? That I can consider as it is more flexible then the white fibre line as the tm contractor told me. Maybe by using that cable I can extend downstairs haha. Coz my house Susah a lot corners that's why have to Pasang upstairs.

Added on July 27, 2012, 12:25 amCurrently any router that can replace Thomson for VoIP?

and if u got extra money can buy homeplug adapter mah....  icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't get why people still wan home plug, currently there's so many reliable multi function routers which can perform better that is cheaper than this overprice home plug that I ve read had many problem overheat and does not last long issues.

Some house really need Power over Ethernet  blink.gif

Especially luxury condo... coz they use wave absorbing material for their wall  cool.gif
I hv personally encounter this problem, where wifi put next to the wall also cannot get signal
*
Your missing the point, What I mean is a router in repeater mode. They are more reliable then home plugs and cost cheaper.
