Unifi also cannot though recently one salesperson said can...same excuse as the Maxis guy - "for a small fee of RM20, you can retain your old number" so I dunno can trust or not.

Actually "CAN". I've "done" that. 
All Unifi and MHF agent has ready answer for this most frequently asked question "Can I retain my existing TM number ?"

Instead of saying "CAN NOT", they TWISTED THE WORDS and say "Can retain but need to pay RM26". Sounds better to lure you to signup immediately right ?

Only if you ask him further "RM26 is one time payment ?" Then he will tell you that you need to pay RM26 every month. Yet he still doesn't reveal to you that you are actually keeping you existing TM line with the standard monthly rental of RM26.

Same here. affected only one of my two PCs using USB Wifi adapter. I think is channel problem but I solved the problem with the switching the USB Wifi adapters between the two PCs. LAN and Wifi for mobile devices no problem.
The affected USB Wifi adapter can connect to wifi when plugged into the switched PC. weird 

I believe the ONT must be turned on first, followed by Thomson Router

Meaning more cabling? What cable is that call? The optic cable ones? That I can consider as it is more flexible then the white fibre line as the tm contractor told me. Maybe by using that cable I can extend downstairs haha. Coz my house Susah a lot corners that's why have to Pasang upstairs.

I don't get why people still wan home plug, currently there's so many reliable multi function routers which can perform better that is cheaper than this overprice home plug that I ve read had many problem overheat and does not last long issues.

For me. Repeater is just flexible but not reliable. And also every trouble. home plug is more reliable and stable.

seriously did u consider to go maxis center (KLCC) complaint kaw-kaw ask them to terminate your account without the forfeit RM118 x the less of 24months...
then u can apply unifi or other BB service.

The installer say u stick the thomson modem (打直） to the wall then signal will be better.

is this the 1st time you replace? if not, i would advice you to call the CS and specifically put in the case report that the router had been changed before and yet got problem

Note : If i feel something is important, i will ask the CS to write down word by word what I said. I don't give the CS the chance to interpret what they think is the situation and use their own words to describe

eg there is once i ask the CS to write down "Maxis has broken their promises to me 10 times already"

and yeah, later i check really there.  And i can tell you, i get privilege service after that
