All sifu, i just finished download the 4.0.4 ROM in tar from the web. How to update it with CWM? Do i need to change it to zip as cwm dont recognize tar

what do you mean G+ name? Go to profile settings? 

go to your own profile page - edit profile - click on your name (even though it appear to be unclickable)

flash them using Gnexus toolkit or flash urself one by one using fastboot....

If use toolkit which one i should choose?

Flash ics 4.04 using toolkit easy...
Download official rom from google ...
Put the rom in toolkit\google rom folder
Put phone in fastboot
Run toolkit..then choose option flash google rom...
Then just wait the toolkit do it all for u

ok but no i have a problem where i have lots of apps loaded in so i have to first perform a backup right? i just connect the phone to PC and backup?? (like how i normally backup my 5800)

--cwm is a recovery part of the phone, for flashing stuff
--toolkit to put cwm, root, and unlock and restore back to stock if things happen

--leave the bootloader locked/unlocked, unrooted, on stock yakju, then OTA will come, i dun think it will wipe ur data.

After you completed unlock your bootloader, it will auto wipe off your data.

First, follow the guide to flash to yakju 4.0.4 or you can just let toolkit do the job. Of course you can choose to do just unlock bootloader but there's an option called One-click for all (unlock, root, flash cwm). If you want to stay on stock firmware, then just unlock and root. I think so. You need verification from sifus

What's the firmware version? Rooted? If not rooted, unless they provided the APK, else you got no way to back up anything from the phone.
