I have booked a Toyota Camry 2.5 before the launching and found that it isn't impressing me. The look, safety, performance, features are not you should get for Rm180k. I requested for cancellation but it failed as I am the first twenty in the booking list. I could have get the car by now, but I refused.

However, the salesman gave me a choice of re-choosing the colour and add-ons. I plan to add aerokit to make the car look less updated in future time. My colour chosen during booking was white. I do not have any idea on what colour does the car look the best. I have only seen black Camry in my area (Not many Camry by now, people are clever blush.gif). Plus, I found that all the Camry being displayed are Black, and the most of the Camry pictures in Toyota Website are black (The brochure has the best example).

I wonder in your opinion what colour looks the best? And should I install the aerokit?

Yea, but cannot be cancelled by now. Just like a LYN forumer bought a Dugong and can't be cancelled. Same story. tongue.gif

for RM180k, you get better bang for buck with a passat. Toyota are overpriced japanese shyt here.

The aerokits just make the camry look more ah beng and ricer. Your loan already released to the company? if not, i think you can still cancel it and get a penalty fee

Hm. Why did you buy it without knowing what it will be like?

I think white is ok. Still doesn't change that it has 2 airbags and no VSC... it gets beaten by a Preve!

Maybe you could try to sue them for not having VSC when the previous car had it, thus leading you to expect that the follow up will also have this very essential and important safety feature.

Also why can they deny you getting out of the booking, just because you were first to book?

Yes, very sadly. Three of my collegue bought the new Camry too. They said is good, lol. Regret listening to them. However, there is no use to cry over split milk. Should accept the fact.

White or black also difficult to maintain, so its down to your own preference. Different ppl different taste.

Personally i would choose black, hide those sharp ugly lines on the bumper hmm.gif

Ya, but I already own 3 black cars, that's why I choose white at that time. Hard decision.

Nonono...in my area, it is rather safe to drive. Highest speed limit on road is 60. Rural area.

Considered 508 before that. But heard it is not reliable, spare parts difficult to get in my area.
