Just ordered 5 units of 8GB, 5 units of 16GB. Final price is yet to be determined because we are working out on the cheapest shipping cost to Malaysia. 8GB is likely to be RM800+. Once we got the charges for courier service, we will announce the final price. We will request for confirmation from those who have pre-ordred. If they agree to the final price, we will reserve for them, and the deposit will not be refundable. If they disagree with the final price, deposit will be refunded.

dude, 800 ?! you serious ? I can pre order one myself at a cheaper cost, main reason I took from you because your initial RM 740 price is slightly lower than what my cost (about RM 750) and saves me all the hassle going thru purchasing stuffs online and getting it shipped to Malaysia from US.

Have you considered all state taxes, international shipping cost? I would love to see how you keep it so low, please PM me. I am, in fact, taking the risk of being taxed by custom. Anyway, all who have pre-ordered has the right to reject the offer, and deposit will be refunded. No worries.

He wasn't paid. He just contributed his 2 cents. No offense, but don't be rude.

No, it won't. This I can assure you. If it goes beyond 1k, I wouldn't consider bringing in. I am still working hard to keep the price low, especially on international shipping and state tax.

I've bought Nexus One from google 3 years back, no tax. TMo G2 (HTC Dezire Z US variant) 2 years back from Amazon, no tax. Tmo G2x (LG Optimus 2x US variant) last year from Amazon, no tax. Fact : Telephone for cellular network or for other wireless network and not excluding tablets (this N7 sheit doesnt even have cellular function in it to begin with) : No tax. Tip : NEVER use US national postal service. If you want to save yourself troubles later when you stuff reaches Malaysia.

Just a note : if you're bringing in stuffs in bulk (as in it will be consolidated into 1 package all together) it should lower down the average shipment cost than what you have posted previously (RM740), theoretically.

I'd love to do that, but I just don't have the time for it (in terms of handling C.O.D, mailing and stuffs like it when it reaches Malaysia) bro, that being said considering the profit : time spent ratio isn't really that rewarding too.

Thanks for the tip. I've already pre-ordered from Google, and there is tax, and the tax is not cheap. We are still working hard to minimize the tax. Thanks for the note about USPS.

Yeah, you are absolutely right. We found that doing this bulk is not very rewarding. Profit margin is very low while trying to keep the price low. But what to do? We have already had a long list of buyers, we just keep going, so not to disappoint them.

Wait after first batch is done, then you guys can mass-order. Because by then we would have set the final price.

If the final price for 16gb model is just slightly under RM999 then I'm sure you would get a ton of customers. =D

In regards to import duty / sales tax from the states to Malaysia , there will be none as I've mentioned in my previous post. Tips : Dua Hari Lambat, Federal Express and UPS are the ones that i've dealt with in the past, no taxes charged.
