I don't understand... a tablet without 2g or 3g..

this device dont have 3g arr??  but can it use usb broadband?

the purpose of tablet exactly for wifi coz other 1st class country wifi is free everywhere..in malaysia 3g is needed coz the access for internet are limited...thats why for 3rd world country 3G for tablet is important...tq

Guys, I want to check with you guys something. Please reply to this thread and give me your feedback.

There are quite a number of stores that allow pre-orders of Google Nexus 7, but I have limited funds on my side. I want to know if you guys would be willing to pay full amount of the device once the final price is announced and first batch is done?

The reason I am asking is that by doing so, I can order the device from multiple stores, instead of waiting for one batch (about 10 units) to finish selling (and thus receive my funds again) then re-order again, I can order from multiple sources. I want to reduce the lead time.

The advantage is that I can order much faster than before, and stocks will be imported very quickly. The disadvantage is that you guys would need to pay the full amount even before you guys see the device, but just to fund my orders from US.

Any idea what type of adaptor is suitable foe Nexus 7?

1 US credit card, but multiple stores at one go. Will ask my friend if he could call his credit company to up his limit.

Yesterday I dreamt Nexus 7 arrived. I molested it for a good hour. Feeling every contour, every rib. Absorbing in the memory of the texture and the slight chill of the screen. Then I turn it on. Then I woke up

I don't understand, if its pre-ordered from Play Store, wouldn't they deliver it straight to your house(or agreed upon location?). Unless your friend didn't order from Play Store but instead from Gamestop or some other retailer...?

Well, guys. I have a good news for you guys, bad news for myself.

Good news is, all 10 units I pre-ordered is shipped.

Bad news for myself is, there is some hiccups throughout the entire order, and I am losing quite a lot of money because of my misjudgement. I have 2 choices:

1) return the device, and order again, and you guys have to wait for about 2-4 weeks again due to how US refund system works;

2) suck up the lost, honor my orders and ship it over asap.

I chose option 2.

Final price should be out once we receive the stock and determine the shipping cost. I blame no one but some misjudgement from myself. Next batch it should be sorted out.

I am unwilling to increase the price for first batch and then decrease the price for next batch to absorb the loss because this will be unfair to the first batch buyers. So rest assured that all batches final price remain same.

I know I promised to ship the devices back with the package sealed, but I have changed my mine. I will do basic test of the device by turning it on to check for dead pixel, etc., before shipping it.
