Getting my car is a painful experience. Booked on 12 April for Hyper Silver 1.8 with Wheelex n supposedly getting my car earlier last mth bt agent not picking my call i did a constant follow up with no response then I call up HQ n apparently the system show sleek silver. Make noise to both agent n HQ n they ask me to file complain. Done with complain I still have to further wait for 2 mths...  Wrote another letter and appeal for management to look into my case. 2 days later they revert it's agent due diligence n they are sorry bt can't do much. Such a sad episode.... Sigh.... So after so much heartache I decided to cancel the purchase. Brother Steven u may remove my name frm the list

yesterday me and my friends were discussing bout elantra..all of us agreed that elantra is a beauty however my friends believe that looks is only the strong point of this car and the resale value is a weak point...difficult to argue anyway..

I am planning to get the 1.6 High Spec. Did test drive yesterday at Puchong. Noticed that the engine is a bit noisy. Do you guys have the same issue or it is something wrong with the test drive car?

Huh? noisy sure or not? the NVH is damn good bro. Or that test car got issue? cause when u r in the car even without air cond n radio on, i practically can't hear the engine had been ignited at all most of the time ..

But after test drive, the City ride (suspension/NVH) feels like my Myvi only.
So Elantra is the best value, and it is a C Segment car.

if you are idling, my 1.8 dont make much noise. unless you are pressing on the accelerator, >1.5k rpm got small hint of engine noise la. >3k rpm start to be a bit normal car engine sound.

HE has one of the better NVH around even from outside the car. many a times i have to touch my bonnet to see if the engine is running.

what i dont understand is the may number still show vios having the highest non national car sales. funny
