looks interesting though and from the perspective, seems like easily >2k units for all the phase.
even a single phase itself might have more than 1k units.

River of life job in KL valued at RM2.2bil

PETALING JAYA: Ekovest-MRCB JV Sdn Bhd (EMJV), a 60:40 joint venture between Ekovest Bhd and Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB), has been appointed the project delivery partner (PDP) by the Government to assist in the implementation and delivery of the River of Life (ROL) project.

Ekovest told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that the project was valued at RM2.2bil over three years. The value of the contract was only revealed yesterday.

β€œAs the PDP, it (EMJV) will earn a maximum fee of RM22mil, which is equivalent to 1% of the total projected works to be delivered over the three-year period. The PDP will also enjoy monetary incentives with respect to the river rehabilitation and beautification works,” it said.

It did not elaborate on the monetary incentives.

The ROL is an Entry Point Project identified in the Greater Kuala Lumpur National Key Economic Area under the Government’s Economic Transformation Programme. It aims to transform the rivers running through the heart of Kuala Lumpur by undertaking river rehabilitation, beautification of riverbank and river corridor development.

The ROL project entails the rehabilitation of the Klang and Gombak Rivers, and the beautification works on an initial 10.7km stretch.

Ekovest said the PDP project would not have an immediate effect on the company’s earnings per share and net tangible assets for the current financial year ending June 30, 2012, but it was expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the company.

In February, MRCB announced to Bursa Malaysia that the Ekovest-MRCB joint venture had received a letter of intent from the Government for the ROL project.

The following month, MRCB and Ekovest signed an agreement to set up a joint-venture company known as KL Bund Sdn Bhd to undertake the ROL project.

Kuala Lumpur Mayor Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad Ismail was reported in August as saying said the PDP would not be allowed to bid for government land near the Klang River as long as the joint-venture company remained the Government’s partner in the upgrading of the river.

He said this was due to its competitive edge over others, given that it had access to information in its role as PDP.

Take note: Site A, B and C are all diferent location and different masterplan (see first post).

For example, you can see the hoarding/notice board at Site B - near the Chong Hwa school.

any idea how jalan gombak can link to jln tun razak via DUKE?
if so, will it make jln tun razak traffic even worst?

for above map (site A) oni can see jln gombak connected to DUKE (near puah pond)

does it mean the proposed DUKE extention behind chong hwa will link to jln tun razak ?? but i see the highway stopped at bandar baru sentul..

just cant figure out how jln gombak can link to jln tun razak..

will this new link will boost jln gombak properties???

I see.. started but not 100% fully done then (70%/80%/85%/90%/91%/92% ...?) .. I didn't get into very deep inside, last time can't see it through from the main road (all trees macam forest), now actually when passby can see it through the big land from outside to inside. I suppose they're readying it and it could be soon

KUALA LUMPUR:Β Ekovest BhdΒ expects its property development division to keep the company busy next year with three main projects to be launched in the Klang Valley.

Ekovest’s principal business activities are the provision of civil engineering services, building works and investment holding.

Its managing director, Lim Keng Cheng, said the three main projects, the Eco Business Park in Cheras, The Gateway@KL Bund in Setapak and Menara Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur, had a gross development value of RM4.8bil.

This project is too big. We need some good business activity to sustain it. Can't just build and leave it like that. Need to compete those kl ecocity, Midvslley, one u is not easy. One good thing is closer to city centrt. Need to plan carefully. Does this developer has some good township record. Ifnot, it is quite risky. However, high risk high return.

From the pronunciation alone, yup so many projects using this prefix to their projects. It took me a while to segregate them.

SP Setia used it, eg Ecohill.

The "spinoff/spawn/new breed/twin-off/sibling" company Ecoworld used it to the max eg EcoMajestic, EcoArdence, EcoMeadows, EcoBusinessPark etc (just to quote a few in typo, for sure there are more)

Ekovest, used its BM prefix "Eko" in its projects started from EkoCheras, EkoTitiwangs etc.

Per this two weeks-old news, launching second Quarter next year.

β€œThe residences will have built-up sizes from 600 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft and these units will be priced below RM1 million,” he said.

EkoGateway @ KL River City will be developed over three phases and is expected to be completed by 2022.
