QUOTE(Silver Isle @ Jun 27 2012, 11:05 PM) Wow that's pretty big eh! I can imagine that it's pretty heavy too. Haha. If I have 2 Samsung smartphones, I can only charge 1 at a time right? I'm not sure about that since the 2 USB ports have different Amp value. One port is 1A, other is 2A

QUOTE(Xabrius @ Jun 27 2012, 11:24 PM) 1 charges at the same rate as your wall socket 1 charges at half the time needed to fully charge your phone compared to the wall socket Use the 2A sparingly, a slow charge is better than a fast one or in case of emergency where you need your phone to be charged fast so i can actually use the 2A port with my S3?

My battery drops about 10% after 8hrs overnight (sleeping time) even though i didnt even turn it on. I've removed some widgets that i believe are causing the battery drain, but it made no difference help?

QUOTE(JusTaTin @ Jul 1 2012, 03:23 PM) Same here. Tried switching off WiFi last night, helped slightly. QUOTE(tommyfai @ Jul 1 2012, 03:23 PM) yes.. some do.. some no.. I done all of these 1. Turn off Wifi 2. Turn off Mobile Data 3. Turn off Bluetooth 4. Turn off GPS 5. Removed all apps from multitask menu 6. Switch from WCDMA to GSM 7. Turn on power saving mode Still no difference. I usually charge till full before i sleep then unplug it, but it's always 10% gone when i wake up in the morning This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Jul 1 2012, 03:38 PM

QUOTE(Loreburner @ Jul 2 2012, 06:26 PM) Is anyone else experiencing extreme battery drain? It finished charging around midnight and when I woke up around 9 the battery left 75% with no apps running, no wifi, no bluetooth etc. The only thing running was the alarm. So i checked my battery status, the screen is taking up 40% and cell standby also 40%. I already followed all the tips to save battery for the display but its still the same. Also for cell standby, I don;t get why it is so high. So i googled it, apparently there's a bug? Which can be fixed if u root your device. But I know nuts (total tech noob here) to rooting and I dont want to void the warranty. I thought of sending it back to a samsung centre but there are problems with my e warranty registration which i have emailed samsung and they havent replied. if go to sleep with 99% battery and wake up 8 hours later, there will be only 90% left. I do exactly like what you do, except i set mine to GSM instead of WCDMA. I'm guessing it's pretty normal.

QUOTE(awsc777 @ Jul 2 2012, 06:37 PM) I'm guessing it's not normal since he said 12am - 9am it's 25% drain....... yours is similar to mine at about 10% drain overnight but he didn't specify if he's on GSM or WCDMA? In my experience, my battery drains faster when using WCDMA compared to GSM. Added on July 2, 2012, 6:44 pmQUOTE(Loreburner @ Jul 2 2012, 06:42 PM) LOL. can my phone wake up when I sleep? Any way to disable it? When i open my battery status in settings, i see that my phone 'wakes up' when i sleep. I have no idea what it is This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Jul 2 2012, 06:44 PM
