I used to enjoy the fun of overtaking in these type of runs but I got exhausted of overtaking by the time I hit the 4km mark. I was like "wth, only 4km?" Zigzag-ing and speeding up and down slopes to overtake really takes a toll.

But wow, this is the first time I got really annoyed with walkers in the middle of the running route. I wanted to just knock them down or push whoever that is blocking my path aside. Slow runners I can bear with it but those who suddenly stop in the middle are really scary because at times, it is difficult to stop my 6ft 95kg body from trampling over them.

Overall, not really happy with my timing of 1'14'10 (Nike+) Maybe it should be quicker by a minute or two as I started my timer early. Wanted to go below 1'10'00 but already half expected it because of the number of participants. Waiting to see the chip time.

My body experienced the most discomfort in this race as I didn't do a good warmup and pretty cooldown waiting for the race to start. Calves were tight and also experienced some chest discomfort. Had to walk for couple of minutes and few cups of drinks to slowdown heartrate before it passes and good to go again.

Anyways, anyone letting go of their PNM 10k bib/kit? laugh.gif

Thank you for your encouragement. smile.gif

Outdoor runs, I usually just run once a week on Sunday mornings in Kiara Park for roughly 7km plus (on good days) and on not so good days, I only run about 5km plus. Nothing special, just wake up, light warm up and run.
Well normally for race days, I do have some food before I run but when I go for my usual Sunday morning runs, I usually run on an empty stomach and I wondering if you guys also do that on training days ?

Thinking of incorporating another day for running, probably some interval training in KLCC park since my office is just a stone throw away. I am seriously setting under 1hr for 10km runs as my main objective. Wondering how much further my body can take (Men's Health Night Run was the furthest distance I have ever ran so far). Terribly upset that I was not able to collect the finisher's medal in MHNR because I was too slow.

Not sure if it helps my running progress but I am more of a gym go-er, mostly dealing with weights on 3 out of the 5 weekdays but only one day for leg workouts. Sometimes I do some running on treadmill on special circumstances.

Been out of sync due to some silly injuries, hampering my running progress (broke my foot in December and tore something in July). Having to recover all the small gains I made over and over again is so frustrating!
Was hyped up to go the distance with my maiden HM by joining PJ HM but got injured due to another small silly mishap.

U r doing good in this run base on ur body weight. Especially in this clouded situation, we need to run zig zag. There r lots more runing event coming up. Just prepare ur self to new target, improve a little bit more for the upcoming event. Cheers!

What customization can we do at Nike KLCC or The Curve? For our finisher tee?

Anyone letting go of their PNM 10k bib? Feeling rested and ready to go for recovery run. Usually recovery run should be done how long after a run?
