The game become too boring and repetitive for me. Yes I know this is an ARPG and Diablo2 is repetitive too but it is not this boring. atleast in D2 the items are something to look forward to with a lots of different items, runes, different kind of gems (D2 had 7 and D3 had 4?) etc..
so far I manage to farm Act2 Inferno with 5 NV stacks..did it everyday since 1.03 patch and yes theres alot of rares dropping but 99% is utterly rubbish that I had to vendor it because my AH seems to be not selling as frequent as pre-1.03 (seems like no one is buying anything nowadays)

the only good thing out of Diablo3 is that the RMAH has net me around 20+USD and this is before 1.03.
I've pre ordered Torchlight II for $19.99 ( 1/3 of D3 price) which I never heard before but later found out that the same team that did Diablo 2 did this game. It isnt out yet but they gave me a free copy of Torchlight 1 to play till then..

So good mang!

so I'll wait till the D3is truly perfected (pvp, items etc) then I'll play coz not that I could sell this game so till then..TL2 might be a lot better..I wanna try TL1 1st and see if this is good.

I did not quit the game, but I am playing it a LOT less, it's really no different from quitting sweat.gif
Thing I hate about this game is that once you reach level 60, there's not much to look forward to. In Torchlight 1, once you beat the game, there is an endless dungeon where you can play forever, and loot will scale infinitely.
And that itemization in this game just plain sucks. Imagine a rare wand that has strength or agility or a class restricted stat. Plain stupid cause I can't use strength or agility, and I have gotten these vendor trash.

It's not like Torchlight 1 where if a wand drops, it will have stats that are suitable for your class.
And in Torchlight 2, all stats are actually useful for your class (strength = weapon damage, agility = dodge/crit chance, focus = spell damage, vitality = hp/resists)

this is because if every item is good, then no one will salvage them.. atleast crap item u can salvage without thinking twice..

Well, to put it statistically, I salvage 99% of my rares and sell all my blues. 1% of the rares I find are good, and 99% of them are garbage.

MF 250-300% after 5NV. Most of the time I got yellow. At least one for every elite drop, sometimes maybe up to 4!

MF in D3 is fudged. I have 150% MF (225% MF with 5 stack NV) and I got only low level blues and 1-2 rares that are just vendor trash. shakehead.gif

and inb4 http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5911881917#14 (just admit it blizz, you already fiddled with IAS, a stat which most of the population used, like it was nothing. So, what is changing a stat on another item gonna change anything?)

Must remember the fact that d3 just 2 months old game. You been playing just for 2 months n only got 3 patches so far. Cannot compare to d2 yet. Im sure u been playing d2 for 1 year at least n d2 got more than 10 patches to make the game perfect. Not to mention the editor so that u can create 1m% mf charm. Just be patient and hope ur luck get better. Lol

2 months and 3 patches? That's a record in my book. rclxms.gif
Shows how broken the game is tongue.gif And they had like what, 12 years to test the game?

12 years apart, took 1 month to build the game, lol

2007- 2011: Introduced attack, precision, defense, vitality as main stats. Retained town portal and identiy scrolls. Runes are dropped items. Introduced cauldron of jordan (to sell items), nephalem cube (to salvage items), nephalem altar (for respecs)

Early 2012 (months before release): All of the above removed

Lol do u really think they tested the game for 12 years? Be realistic bro.. they tested the gane during open beta oni..
*
Whenever they put something in the game, they have to test it. They have game testers for a reason.

Alpha version - Put something in the game, get their game testers to test every single aspect of the game
Beta version - Put something in the game, get their beta testers to test the game, listen to feedback and implement accordingly

Blizzard is notorious for doing beta just for sake of and not giving a crap to fan feedback. Evident through years of PTR testing in WoW.

A game is only fun when their players (old and new) think its fun, not what the developer thinks is fun.

Diablo III has been estimated to have begun pre-production 5 years before the official announcement of the game at Blizzcon 2008. After the pre-production stage, an estimated 60 people have been working on the game. As per Blizzard's style of development, many original ideas for Diablo III were explored before the development team finally decided on a look and style for the game.
As of February 2009, many hope that the game will be released in 2010, but there has been no official indication of any release date set from Blizzard.
Judging from videos released, it seems that Blizzard has built the foundations for the game's engine, and currently fully engaged in making content for the game, such as completing all of the acts and the remaining 2 undisclosed classes.

So... 5 years + 4 years = 9 years? hmm.gif
