The game become too boring and repetitive for me. Yes I know this is an ARPG and Diablo2 is repetitive too but it is not this boring. atleast in D2 the items are something to look forward to with a lots of different items, runes, different kind of gems (D2 had 7 and D3 had 4?) etc..
so far I manage to farm Act2 Inferno with 5 NV stacks..did it everyday since 1.03 patch and yes theres alot of rares dropping but 99% is utterly rubbish that I had to vendor it because my AH seems to be not selling as frequent as pre-1.03 (seems like no one is buying anything nowadays)

the only good thing out of Diablo3 is that the RMAH has net me around 20+USD and this is before 1.03.
I've pre ordered Torchlight II for $19.99 ( 1/3 of D3 price) which I never heard before but later found out that the same team that did Diablo 2 did this game. It isnt out yet but they gave me a free copy of Torchlight 1 to play till then..

so I'll wait till the D3is truly perfected (pvp, items etc) then I'll play coz not that I could sell this game so till then..TL2 might be a lot better..I wanna try TL1 1st and see if this is good.

I did not quit the game, but I am playing it a LOT less, it's really no different from quitting
Thing I hate about this game is that once you reach level 60, there's not much to look forward to. In Torchlight 1, once you beat the game, there is an endless dungeon where you can play forever, and loot will scale infinitely.
And that itemization in this game just plain sucks. Imagine a rare wand that has strength or agility or a class restricted stat. Plain stupid cause I can't use strength or agility, and I have gotten these vendor trash.

It's not like Torchlight 1 where if a wand drops, it will have stats that are suitable for your class.
And in Torchlight 2, all stats are actually useful for your class (strength = weapon damage, agility = dodge/crit chance, focus = spell damage, vitality = hp/resists)

yeah maybe my title is a bit misleading..im not quitting for good..still have some faith in Blizzard to polish D3 more but I doubt it will be anytime soon. was pretty disappointed with D3..
i'll give it another try in a few months from now..tired of farming for few hours and not getting anything..maybe a few thousands gold minus the repair cost..which is definitely not worth it.

yeah, also found it repetitive.

nowadays I make it more fun again by

1. making new character
2. try my best to ignore the story
3. just enjoy the graphics and action
4. enjoy seeing the numbers (especially crits)
5. party!!! (as in 2 - 4 players in the game)

It help makes the experience better.
