Edit: also bought the autolock, rm165 at jusco, no discount even though got sales.

Assuming you mean Jusco Cheras Selatan. When I was at Maluri's J card sale, they had discount for autolock. Kinda odd for Jusco to have differing prices.

if there are lot of junction to turn...better use + - gear instead of paddle shifter..
*
I was under the impression that "+/-" found on the gearshift and the paddle shifters are one & the same.

no la...not same...paddle shifter at steering...when u turn ur steering...very hard to use paddle shifter...use the +- gear instead...
*
Oh, you mean it's more convenient to use +/- during turns. Agree with that.

What's there to condole? I see only a thread with comments from many people who butt hurt. Then again, I wonder why they hurt when majority of them don't even own a Preve. If Preve is no good, then Preve owners will speak out. Not ktards.

to that car owner. not all owner....why rage?
*
Yes, that owner does deserve sympathy. Still, car issues with the car have been highlighted in this discussion thread and most of which have been addressed by Proton. Can't speak for that owner but maybe he got a lemon unit. Or (no disrespect meant) maybe he demands Lexus levels from his purchase. Without more info, who knows?

If you own a Preve or if you're seriously contemplating one, come talk here.

Are you either of of the above? If not, don't talk kok.

@rich8833, why did you get charged for labour? Isn't that supposed to be free?

I though free labour for 1st, 2nd and 3rd service...wrong ar?
*
I'm also a bit confused too. We assume these are part of first 3 free services. I did try looking in the service manual but there doesn't appear to be any mention of free service. Back when I bought my wira, there used to be 3 detachable vouchers for such services in Wira's service booklet. Preve has none.

Edit: Found it on page 12 where it says .. Proton offers free labor service for the first 3 recommended service maintenances.. It does not specifically mention exact mileage. So for Richard's case, 6000 should be a recommended service maintenance (for severe usage). So why charge?

Should ask the original poster in the original thread. Hard to speculate why. Maybe they are interested in non-national makes only. wink.gif

Just did my first service. Since I have no complaints on my car, I didn't bother to go to COSE. Went to a nearby SC. Stress free.

Check your invoice. Did they stick you with Magnatrap & Petrol Treatment, etc?
