I do hope there would be someone distributing CE box in Malaysia... and still get in time for the pre-order bonus...

hmm.. many people say that the sub fee for US is cheaper than EU, but if u convert MYR to pound in comparison with USD, pound was actually RM3 cheaper than USD for each month..

I don't know man.... The reason why it was called Collector Edition is because it's something one could collect and treasure on... It just feels kinda weird to 'collect' a digital copy... I hope retailer here would bring in the CE box before the pre-order bonus ended

BTW isn't most of the tracks have been revamped? IIRC, they have 4 composers revamp on Nobuo Uematsu's FF14 track, as well as creating new tracks for the game. The new lead composer is Soken isn't it? Anyhow, I still think you will get all the stuff thou (artwork, OST, card), except all of them gonna be in digital format I guess.

I just emailed to Impulse Megastore and play-asia regarding on when will they make available of the CE box for pre-ordering purposes... gonna take some time or even not gonna reply thou...

Anyhow after a day the mail was sent out, play-asia has listed CE box for JP But it was expensive as hell...

EDIT: just checked mail, so here it is.


Apparently I forgot to notify that I was asking fo the CE box.... so yeah. PS3 CE box is 120 USD. Quite expensive.

yea I responded to play-asia's email already. If nothing goes wrong, I should receive another response tomorrow. Then again, I doubt they will response to the bonus code issue, because I already raised the question on the first email alongside with the CE box availability, and they only response to the CE box but not the bonus code.

man... there's gotta be that ONE store that has CE box with reasonable price, inb4 they allow us to pre-order it...

Then it would leave me no choice but to get the CE box only after launch... I guess I will miss the cute cait sith minion, awesome looking mog cap, and early access to the game...

I think the best hope we have for CE box with reasonable price now would left us with Gameon and Impulse Gamestore... But of course there's a huge chances that you won't get the pre-order bonuses thou.

To those who can't wait to pre-order package version of ARR (be it standard or CE box) and are willing to pay a hefty amount of money, you guys can actually pre-order in SQEX NA store with the help of Boderlinx or VPost Asia. The idea is to deliver the package to their designated US address, and they will deliver the package from their US station straight to your doorstep in Malaysia.

It's not cheap thou, delivery of CE box will be approximately MYR95 (if the CE box weight 1kg, 2kg being MYR120). I will wait around for our local retailer to give an answer for CE box first since pre-order bonus is not really a big deal to me. But to those of you who rush for pre-order bonuses, then you can try this.

but you are only taking in PS3 version only right? lol... Im interested in PC CE box... but anyhow I would like to wait for a while to see what the local retailers gonna do about it.

what he meant was the monthly fee~ 12.99 USD vs 10.99 €. Unless there's anyway to pay with pound thou, then it's gonna be cheaper, only £7.69 per month...

There should be no problem~ the game itself is not ip/region locked. The thing is that if you bought the NA version, then you hv to link the game to SQEX NA account, and hence pay the monthly fee in USD. Other than that there's nothing much to worry about. You can basically play the game with any region copy from any where.

But I still hv 1 thing Im not sure about thou lol. I mean they put both value for £ and € in the EU page, isn't that mean you could pay with either UK pound or euro? If it is then why not convert the MYR to UK pound? UK pound is definitely the cheapest option among the 4 currencies.

Unless it's a UK privilege and other region other than UK are force to pay with euro...

if u dont hv a credit card, i guess there's a workaround^^ u can buy molpoint from 7-11, then buy the ultimate-game card with molpoint, *(might be able to skip this)which the card can convert into point for ultimatePay of playSpan*, of then which u can buy crysta with the point. After all the hassle, u can pay ur subscription with crysta.

Im not sure each of the conversion rate, but I think from ultimate-game card onward till the crysta, its a ratio of 1:1 (since its usd to usd), with the exception of conversion from molpoint to ultimate-game card, which each conversion cost you around RM2.1 (5 USD game card cost u RM17.6, where the real conversion was only RM15.5).

Anyhow if all people care is combat and movement, then they should try Vindictus. I played the game since US beta and I can assure u that game makes even Tera's combat looks like child play. But that's all it is. ARR on the otherhand seems to provide something even more...
