btw .. should I uninstall FFXIV 1.0?

I uninstalled it. Took quite long.

Totally new here . i need these info (if willing to help)

1. Where to register account and download ?
2. Prefer go which platform to play ? PC/Ps3.

That is only the Square Enix Account, to get the FFXIV, u need to buy one. but it's totally not yet out yet, so you don't really need to create it just yet so go to beta application to apply for it, and wait for their coming news of beta invites.
2. up2u, both are techniically same server

make sure you set it to fire first before deleting it.... yes is safe... unless u wanna save your character "model choice" during the 1.0 chracter creation, save your Final Fantasy XIV folder inside the my document/my games folder.

Play alone sure wont want come back lo.... If got pple to play with at least i'll join back. Been very tired of Sorrow rpg in the past.

i think only new servers (mainly eu/us) need to start from scratch

^this, bacisly those that used to play will be in old server and retain everything up to 1st November 2012.

Where im going is old server, but im willing to start a new for the sake of getting all SEA in one place... xD Many SEA in one server = more time benefit in playing.

Haha, well not really as they only ask for your email, so bacisly if they choose you, they will send an invitation email with instruction on how to make new account or something.

I checked my email no notice or invitation from SE, or should I apply the beta test using the same email?

I have no heading anyways. My prev ff11 acquaintance all vanish already lol. The last time i join ff14 , mostly separated across server. Depending on any big Malaysia LS. If not .... just pure waste of time sorrowing urself. =.=||
I probably try on Ps3..

mhmm, LS are smaller type of guild

is like having 2 type of Guild, LS(Link Shell) are for smaller party size with no benefit of guild features. while FC (Free Companies) are for bigger audience and features more guild-like (Guild Management system)

LS will be like a Chat Channel or sort. Good for a group of small tight knit group

Old geng from server Lakshmi FF11 went to Palamecia server and then merged became Excalibur. Only me and Shinshadow left and play till almost max level. In the end Peter and Jiang join in last few months before server was down for ARR.
