That "miniskirt" is not even short and I don't agree with people calling person who wear those as "sluts".

Oh mai, you should be very busy fap fap now. This kind of outfit can be seen everywhere in shopping mall. Nothing special.
I'm sad that many /k/ talking bad about her outfit.
I think the 'crime' she did is just wear not according to school's dress code. Nothing is indecent here.

Isu Pelajar DiHukum Pakai Skirt Pendek: Sekolah Sudah Beri Panduan Sebelum Kejadian

Principal: Student was told to be properly attired
By R.S.N. MURALI and YUEN MEIKENG

MALACCA: The Methodist Girls' Secondary School insists that it has the authority to take action against its student for wearing a miniskirt at an event held outside its compound.

Principal Chong Chew Yoong said two teachers had earlier given instructions to Form Five student Stephanie Tan Joo Sing to be properly attired.

This was because Stephanie was the school's representative at the charity event to raise funds for NGOs.

Miniskirt, major issue: The dress that got Stephanie (left) in trouble.
Chong said Stephanie, who is the head of the school's Leo Club, defied the instructions and came to the event in the miniskirt.

She added that action was taken against Stephanie after the school received complaints on her attire.

“What she did was tantamount to defying the teachers' orders and hence, she was subjected to disciplinary action,” she said yesterday.

She was commenting on the school's decision to bar Stephanie from classes between June 18 and 25 after she was alleged to have smeared the school's reputation following the “indecent” attire incident in March.

Chong also said the school had earlier issued a directive which outlined the proper dress code, including how students should be attired when attending events outside the school.

In KUALA LUMPUR, Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said schools should not be overzealous and punish students if they attend social gatherings or events held outside the school compound.

While students should adhere to regulations if they are within the school compound, they should not be penalised if they attend social gatherings or events held outside.

He has instructed the Malacca Education Department to submit a report on the matter.

“I want to know the school's basis and justification for imposing the punishment,” he said after chairing the MCA Youth central committee meeting at Wisma MCA here yesterday.

Stephanie's father Tan Eng Hock said the suspension was unwarranted and that the allegation was an embarrassment to his family.
