Hellos , my GP gave birth to 3 babies , one baby doesn't seem to do well she is very skinny n weak compared to the other 2 . Can baby gp drink real human milk? My sis is nursing so we will have plenty . I already feed the baby some as she seems really weak , and she seems to like it ! Should I separate her with the adults as I see the adults keep stepping on the kids ...

I think u shud go for separate intensive care for the baby if possible.

Not sure if human milk is suitable as gp is known to be lactose intolerant.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

Not trying to defend her but my experience with Nico has always been very pleasurable:

1. I buy all my GP food supplies from Nico and my pigs love them all (timothy hay, pellets and alfafa hay (in the form of pellet, the pigs LOVE this)). Her hays are one of the freshest I have ever purchased and it's all individually packed the night before actual COD. Say you buy a 5kg load, each bags are packed 1kg individually so you do not lose its overall freshness.

2. She was very helpful and responsive when I wasn't sure what was happening with my pigs (1 was feeling unwell) at 12pm midnight. Yet she stayed up to help and ensure everything was ok.

3. Her time is usually quite packed, so I will always plan in advance to collect from her.

Perhaps there was a miscomm between both parties with your initial intent to purchase, perhaps you can try again in the near future smile.gif

That is good for u.It wasnt very lucky for me then. When a seller have good amount of sales their attitude could change anytime.
I were just needed some reassurance, is she really cannot she can tell me the reason and not just by replying no, it sounds to me like, " your are a very mafan customer and what you going to buy from me its petty to me, so i am not going to bother with you anymore "

Whatever is it i see not much point for me to buy from her for now..
Anyway its a very old story already, Hay has been bough too.

Thanks for your input though

Give them some time. What I did was slowly get them to get used to you. Feed them at certain time. Try and offer food. Eventually they will come and eat off your hand. Mine initially always hide under newspapers.

Are we suppose to feed them at certain time? I just put a bowl of pellets and some veggies in the cage.

Need not worry, just fill up the hays, pellets for them 3 times in a day. I feed my GP fresh lettuces , broccolis, carrot, grapes, snacks, Green pea flakes and hays. Funny how my GP dislike pellets and he knows how to pick what he loves to eat only. blush.gif
