There might be different income level here but let say you fetch home 4k-5k per month, how much fix amount will u give to your spouse? It does not include those subjective expense like wayang or lunch u pay when go out.. :-)

I am just curious if i give less or up to standard to my spouse.. :-)..

Hrm, my dad gives my mom RM1000 a mth + 2 cards (shared limit, instead of imposing a certain limit for her).

Hubby says he'll give me RM1.5K every month for my own use if I quit my job.

it would help if you could breakdown your commitment costs and other etcs in it so we could give comments

Also, 2.3k is enough to rear a child. Makan minum bini dan anak bukan di tangan engkau tetapi di tangan allah swt, maka insaflah. alasan ini juga boleh digunakan kepada bakal mak/pak mentua yang tak sudi bagi anaknya kawin dgn kau yang berpendapatan rendah.

I gave my wife per week RM250 just for her usage alone and does not include other expenses like facial, clothings, car petrol allowance, make up, toileteries and skincare which the other expenses which I have taken up almost every month. It is my nafkah zahir to my wife.

By the way, my wife is a doctor.

Well my wife and i, we choose to...alright i don't have a wife actually but you catch my drift. Share has a better 'feel' and connotation than give.

We share. I get to keep about 20% for my own personal use/hobbies. The rest she can utilize to pay for family expenses and savings, loans etc.

(a) loan under his name so he pays
(b) laundry, he pays

I always give but it depend on the particular expenses..

my imaginary wife always give me pocket money daily..sometimes 50 sometimes 100..because I use my money to pay for the loan, rental, car loan, and bills..so can ah like this?
