Downloading CTDP

Hi, if all the physics and engines are equalized across all the cars, and the race layouts and track conditions that come with the CTDP don't mean anything, then Ill pick Midland seat 1, else ill pick something faster

Its all same... no difference in car performance.. but i think with midlands u cant change the brake disc size values..

brakes?!?! we don't need no stinking brakes!!!

lol, OK well ill do some practice runs to test.


On a side note...

Me and Congo_Toey (I used to be Congo_Jack) used to run a CTDP based league called Congo Racing.

We didn't want the cars to suffer the fact of being good n bad across the board and thus no driver wanted to be in the slower cars, but also didn't want all the cars to be the same as in other formulas, so we devised a strategy to make them similar.

We took the 4 best engines from that year...

Mercedes, Ferrari, Renault, Honda

And then the 4 best physics layouts...

McLaren, Ferrari, Renault, Honda... OK OK was the same I think anyway, Congo_Toey knows...

Anyway we then gave them numbers, Engines 1-4, Physics 1-4, and randomized them over the 10 teams, so the results came out as per example....

Ferrari
engine 4
physics 1

Mclaren
engine 3
physics 2

etc etc.... for all the teams

After some rigorousness testing, we had discovered we had created a rather nifty layout were all the teams became very similar in speed n handling, but also different enough to have an edge on cornering or speed or longevity etc.
In essence it played out very well over the season with similar times across the teams but also different enough to know you were playing to the strengths, and the beauty was no one knew what engine or physics they had in their team so was down to getting to know the vehicle.

Anyway i mention it as it seems to me that this would be a better layout for a league than all the cars the same... anyway just a thought

Was in the server for a while.. no balance at all in the car.. and the front left tire just heats up like nobody's business..

both fronts were heating up on my car...rear was around +- 20c difference

Mara you got any setup for Silverstone?? or any tips for reducing overheating of front left on silverstone..
i tried the springs, pressures, bumps.. didnt work at all.. lol..

I will if i can...too tired after 10+ seasons pushing hard lol.

all my setup is in my broken ext hd lol.
I always look at the race to setup my car. If fronts too hot i wanna see how many laps can hold and build my race strategy n driving around it....harder compound etc.

I bet, zul, anton, azrink are just trolling in the test races.. they will fire up when the season starts..

do not underestimate me...hahaha
