hi guys..same problem here OTA failed.

Yes using KIES to download is very very slow. Even me being on a 20mbps connection took solid 30 minutes to download. blink.gif

I'm outside now

so for rooted users what are the options to update?
*
Have to use Kies or Odin to update

If Kies fail again, I will download the firmware from samfirmware and use Odin to flash when I get home...

ITS ON THE 1st PAGE

1) check for matching IMEI (dial *#06#) with phone and box.

2) check all contents are available in box

3) check for dead pixels. use samsung function test by typing this code *#0*# into the dialer. go through all the test and make sure everything is working

4) check for any hardware defects by pressing the phone at several spots for squeaking or weird noises.

5) check for yellow tint, open up a white picture and check the screen for yellow-ish

I can confirm you can update with less than 20% battery while charging.

By the way, what is the change log?
Notice no difference also. wink.gif

If you want remain root, then you shall download the firmware from Sammobile and then flash via mobile odin.

I plan to format my internal sdcard and then flash back to stock rom before I customize again. But I have too many software in my sdcard. Big ones like game files and sygic... can I plain copy out and later paste back in, then reinstall the files from playshop if they are missing?
