Does anyone found out that sometimes this s3 will be lagging during playing games?

I am using blue version s3, currently play "temple run" my phone will be lagging.
*
Then just pretend you're playing temple walk. Isn't that easier for you if he's walking? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

BTW, my temple run runs smoothly on my s3. Try end all the background task before playing.

anybody know where can get car holder for S3 ?
*
I'm looking for one too... I'm driving a small car and all i have to place my phone is my pocket.
The side door compartment is not suitable as it will keep on knocking left and right due to the thinness and height.

These few car holders looks good...

My S3 tend to panas after 20min on games !! is it normal ???? kind of worried lar, takut nanti meletup !!  rclxub.gif
*
The display screen sure will generate heat.
Normally when it's getting hot, i'll just leave my phone idle for 1-2 mins...
At least my phone can rest a while, i can rest my eyes a while.
moreover, im using a case, i think the chances of the heat getting trapped is higher.

So its normal for the phone to be fully charged in about an hour? But should I leave it on the charger for 8 hours or just unplug once the battery indicator says its full?

Any chance of over charging the battery?
*
you people.... when it's charging too fast, complain... charging too slow, complain...
susah lorrrr mau satisfy u....
s3 got a smart charging mechanism, wont overcharge your device unless u using oem/fake charger.

drain your battery once a month to recalibrate it thus ensuring a healthy and longer lifespan

its basic battery knowledge actually but i haven't seen any1 post about it here
*
yup, this is to circulate the juice inside the battery.
never keep an uncharged battery a well for too long as it may
not keep charge as efficient or probably not keeping charge at all.
same like jaga notebook computer battery. once a while need to use the battery.

I noticed after certain time use of my S3, when back to the home screen, lags.
even close all the background tasks.
But after restart, all ok back.
Is it we should make a habit to restart our device once a certain time?
to clear the memory, etc... ??

yes. drain it until 0%
*
Normally I don't drain it till flat.
Around 5%, I'll leave it to charge.
I'm not sure but I heard that ppl say don't leave the battery with empty juice.
But though 0%, there is some capacitors in the device to have backup power,
so your date and time won't reset and enough for your device to be in standby mode
for a certain duration of time.

This is a section in the s3 user manual.

Ensure maximum battery and charger life
• Avoid charging batteries for more than a week, as overcharging may shorten battery life.
• Over time, unused batteries will discharge and must be recharged before use.
• Disconnect chargers from power sources when not in use.
• Use batteries only for their intended purposes.

Some additional tips (other sources):
If you don’t plan on using your device for more than three weeks, it is recommended that you store it with the battery charged between 50%-75% and the device completely turned off, not just put to sleep. If you store it when the battery is fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding any charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may experience some loss of battery capacity, meaning it will have a shorter life. Be sure to store your device at the proper temperature.

Though it doesn't help much but just to share. smile.gif

All of a sudden, I noticed that many people are using S3.
Compared to S2, S3 seems like overcoming the ifons.
Just by looking around at starbucks, more than 60% are using the S3 itself.

I wonder is it a trend or what....
When it comes to new phones,
people like to put it on the table to show off.
Whether it's KFC, McD, Starbucks, etc etc...

wtf man sim still not detected
*
Baseus metallic case is not good. it reduces the signal strength both mobile network and wifi.
that's y i changed to other case which works perfect.
even when i wanna remove the baseus case, it's like forcing it out, i oso not sure got damage my phone or not.
try remove your sim and insert it back, else u can go to the telco tomoro to ask them to remake a microsim for you.
probably they did not cut it properly.

the sim is those push and lock type. when u push again, it pops out again. same for the microsd slot.

but the very weird thing is the moment i removed the casing, the sim card goes undetected  rclxub.gif

i tested my sim with my other phone now, its working. so confirmed not sim problem
*
it's showing a message stating sim not detected??
because it normally takes a while to detect the mobile network when you restart / full shut down + on.
maybe when you remove the baseus case, a slight impact causes the sim unreadable.

its showing NO SIM

wifi works as usual
*
maybe you can bring it to test using other sim cards. (if u have other microsim)
try use a coin and give a light scratch to the sim card, wipe it clean and insert it back.
could be some constraint between the sim and the metal on the phone... hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

i think i better prepare for the worst by doing a backup now. any programs? i wanna backup the whole system + all my personal stuffs (apps etc)
*
takut when u remove the case, terkacau the sim slot...
not enough soldering iron when fixing the sim slot...

ya, u should backup ur whole phone. i lost one photo album because of a software issue in s3.
need program to backup?
just connect to your com and copy all the folders out can d mar...
but since u rooted your phone, maybe you want to copy those apps as well?
