ya ya sorry, misunderstood what he wrote earlier, i thought he was asking got extra specials with the other versions of Angry Birds like the Space one, got 20 extra levels and no ads even I disabled the AdFree prog. icon_rolleyes.gif

All AB games are all free, but with ads from PlayStore.

wow all free, but when I click anyone of the angry birds from samsung apps
I can click launch although I download from google play
weird @@
if I am not mistaken someone said should be showing install button instead launch button right ?
*
you have to uninstall the one from the PlayStore and choose the one from the Samsung App. if Samsung App could detect the PlayStore version then you would see the launch button only.

After installing the OTA update via keys and then reflashing CF-Root, now I can't install new apps. It says "(App Name) could not be installed. Free up some space and try again"

Anyone knows what's the problem? I still have about 3gb space left

Somebody mentioned that you need to uninstall the copy from Play Store and get the copy from Samsung apps.

Once installed, you'll see the Launch button is not greyed off (or disabled).

Hi all.

Can I disable the predictive text when typing messages? Also is it possible to stop auto updates from certain apps but maintain the update from the rest? Example I want to stop the accuweather from auto updating/notification but want to maintain whatsapp.

yup, this is to circulate the juice inside the battery.
never keep an uncharged battery a well for too long as it may
not keep charge as efficient or probably not keeping charge at all.
same like jaga notebook computer battery. once a while need to use the battery.

I noticed after certain time use of my S3, when back to the home screen, lags.
even close all the background tasks.
But after restart, all ok back.
Is it we should make a habit to restart our device once a certain time?
to clear the memory, etc... ??

About Samsung new model cycle, I read somewhere before, they cut off the cycle from two years to one year only. That why, SGS to SGS2 to SGS3 just one year cycle. Look Galaxy Mini 2, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Tab 2 and Galaxy Note 2, when they launch after the first model?

Woah..Fruit Ninja played on the Samsung Galaxy S3 using a real knife http://vimeo.com/44454005

How do you drain the batt? Just use till it's 0% (unable to turn on), than charge from zero? smile.gif

Normally I don't drain it till flat.
Around 5%, I'll leave it to charge.
I'm not sure but I heard that ppl say don't leave the battery with empty juice.
But though 0%, there is some capacitors in the device to have backup power,
so your date and time won't reset and enough for your device to be in standby mode
for a certain duration of time.

This is a section in the s3 user manual.

Ensure maximum battery and charger life
• Avoid charging batteries for more than a week, as overcharging may shorten battery life.
• Over time, unused batteries will discharge and must be recharged before use.
• Disconnect chargers from power sources when not in use.
• Use batteries only for their intended purposes.

Some additional tips (other sources):
If you don’t plan on using your device for more than three weeks, it is recommended that you store it with the battery charged between 50%-75% and the device completely turned off, not just put to sleep. If you store it when the battery is fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding any charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may experience some loss of battery capacity, meaning it will have a shorter life. Be sure to store your device at the proper temperature.

Though it doesn't help much but just to share. smile.gif
