QUOTE(Joker @ Jun 29 2012, 12:33 PM) Arvin, I notice alot of people asking about dual channel and stuff recently. How about 1 Dual channel guide at the front page? Dual channel means the transfer speed between the RAM and memory controller(bandwidth) is doubled. It is to prevent bottlenecking due to the inability of the memory controller to keep up. Also i found out that for our G55 slots 1 and 4 are a pair. Slots 2 and 3 are another pair. Someone help me to post this in the front. Pls do check the accuracy of what i typed. QUOTE(holloway @ Jun 29 2012, 05:51 PM) nope no tweak.. but i'm not sure if it's a software or hardware.. but seems doing a pretty good job to protect the battery.. because by removing the battery the laptop would lose it's balance.. but if u plugged in and the battery keeps on charging.. would cause the battery life to decrease alot faster.. the thing is my battery just says fully charged. should i plug in for a very long time?

QUOTE(SKY233 @ Jun 29 2012, 06:24 PM) mine one exactly same like u Found out why. In the manual, it is stated that the battery will only be charged when it is below95%. So, the sign only pops out when you plug it in when they are above 95%. but once it goes below 95, it will charge to 100 and still sip the battery life away.
