lenovo y580 would be your best bet if you're a casual gamer. Similar gpu and cpu with G55.

160gb SSD enough to use ah bro?

I've always wanted to slot in a SSD inside the G55, was disappointed when Asus only provide 1 HDD slot for this. Had to find ways to insert a mSata slot. But after a while, not worth the bargain. Rather just get a SSD instead.

want to ask him whether his breast is fast and enough to use with the SSD or not

still havent got my laptop... i think i'll cancel my order already

the stock arrived, ykgen got his. But i havent gotten mine. There was some miscommunication with my seller but i thought it was settled and i will get my laptop. Apparently not. I think the other unit was sold to a non forumer.

for the first time after so long of waiting for this G55, i actually feel very upset about this.. Everyone else who waited along with me get their laptop already. Not me

perhaps it's time..

discussing with devour now. I also dont want to bother him so much anymore. The G55 is already a big headache to him. So i just hope for a good solution for seller and customer..

In fact i'm struggling without a laptop in Uni. I have 3 assignments currently, one which required me to do 3D modelling. And i cannot keep using my friend's laptop cause he also need to use it. I'm staying outside with my friends now. Renting a room.

I've sent three PMs to Devour throughout the whole week, the third PM i sent by today. He has yet to reply any of the PM i sent.

No. I told him this week i dont get. I want refund. He said ok.

Then when i asked how much is the cancellation fees. He didnt reply. I asked twice.

I've sent him a third PM. Now waiting for his reply.

exactly.. sigh. And i honestly wouldnt be so agitated right now if it wasnt for my Uni. Now in 3rd week already. Assignments are piling up with one assg due on week 5. That requires me to do 3D modelling.. cannot always use my friend's laptop (im staying outside now, this time i got no slow desktop to save me lol)

Yep, pretty worth it and was really surprised with the audio quality. But I plan to upgrade at the end of the year

can remove me from the "soon to be owners" list. I've already confirmed getting back my refund from Devour. Guess I wont be joining the brotherhood after all

Of course everyone here knows that I waited way too long for this laptop. But don't think i could wait any longer seeing that i've already started my uni, and currently in my 3rd week already. I was struggling to survive without a laptop since I'm staying outside.. but I couldnt. I kept borrowing my friend's laptop but I have one assignment that requires me to do 3D modelling and i dont think i can hog my friend's laptop for days. He also need to do his own assignments. My bro who seems to pity my situation offered me his dell xps although its not the laptop I wanted but i guess it'll do for now. He's getting himself a desktop.
