I've been to AVENUE @ PUCHONG a few months ago.
There is a curtain shop beside Crown Furniture (not Baagus) that sells 100% blackout curtain. Limited design though. They have 2 types 70% and 100% blackout. 100% blackout 2 types also, can wash and cannot wash type. Check it out. |

Go to textile outlet such as Nagoya Textile. Ask the salesgirl for blackout fabric use for curtain. U may identify it by looking at the edge of the textile which threaded with black thread. The textile block lights 100%. The price is around rm8 to rm12 per meter. Labour charge for the tailor to custome made the curtain is cheap and affordable if not mistaken around rm4-8 per panel depends on the style you want.

Mind sharing the brand? The one bought from jusco not easy to tell 100% cause at the outlet i put against the light totally cannot see though . At night its totally black. But in the morning can see light coming through except for the "pleats"/folded part(if i use the correct word). Somemore sales person will tell me 100% one. Yes Nagoya RM10.90 per meter checked it out. THe uncle says need 6m for 3 panel window. (maybe get 8m (but no way to check if the really 100% until finish do already) Labour charge so affordable? Didn't know tailor got do. Went to few curtain shop in 1U very expensive. U tried b4? Thanks all sharing. This post has been edited by alvinfks78: Jun 19 2012, 04:01 PM |
