I thought you have enjoyed D3? Why suddenly changed opinions?

Still, i am on the fence for GW2 as i have never played the game before. Still looking for a beta key to try the game out myself before getting it.

I hope i dont offend you, but your comment about GW2 is exactly the same as everyone else been telling me. Such as, GW2 is awesome with a very engaging PvE and well balanced PvP, also the game emphasis on fun, instead of making it a grind. WvWvW is also very interesting to me, as i used to play Battlefield a lot. I guess it is because GW1 is an amazing game and Arenanet manage to fulfill what GW1 gamers wants in the sequel.

I found this blog post on GW2 blog and i would say, i am quite convinced that GW2 might be the game i want. If they keep to the golden rule they promised and dont pull the same D3 bullshit with Error 37 and mass nerfing for no good reason.

Not to forget the frequent tagline, "If you like MMO, you should play GW2, but if you never like playing MMO, you must play GW2", kinda tell me that GW2 could be the "MMO" experience that i am looking for. Also, on the new Dynamic Events for PvE that made the game feels more like Skyrim's free roaming experience instead of the traditional MMO quest systems.

Probably will worth my buck, but i think, the internet connection will be the major obstacle now because my housemates loves to ppstream everyday which ruin my ping to the point that i die in D3 for no good reason. Including a monk dying a lot in Inferno Act 1 with 6000+ armor, 15k dps and 700 resist because i cant run away from arcane or jailer where in practise, i should do alright. I sort of stopped Diablo 3 because i am losing a lot of money due to lag.

I think i need to do something on my end.

Heard about the combo system and it does sounds awesome. The combat is more action based, instead of the typical MMO's hotbar spamming?

Thats the problem with this kind of people, if its just online gaming is affected, i will not be that pissed over it as at the end of the day, its just games. However, this affected my studies back then and now, my job hunting are being affected by these people's irresponsible attitude. I am sleeping at 5am these days because i want to play some of my multiplayer games online. If not, whats the point of buying original multiplayer games to begin with? D3 officially join the ranks of underplayed multiplayer games.

3G isnt sufficient for games, though, you still need a land line as it is much more stable than 3G. Either way, i am screwed, so, looks like i'll miss out another gem in gaming. Even if i get GW2, i'll probably end up playing alone because no one will want to do dungeon raid with a guy that will drop off anytime.

Can we just stop with the Thor shit? It is is getting ridiculous.

The problem is, i am currently absolutely overwhelmed with games. I have Guild Wars 2, Sleeping Dogs and Galaxy on Fire 2 for a while. Then, today, i got Planetside 2 Beta, with Torchlight 2 on the horizon, my gawd, i dont even know how to find time to juggle with 5 incredibly awesome games.

That still doesnt consider the fact that other potentially good games such as Hitman Absolution, Dishonored, XCOM, Project CARS and Hawken yet.

I am already very picky when it comes to games, so, i do not see a point of going further. It is just that there are a lot of really great games coming out at the same time.

I always prioritise on one game before i move to other games, just that there are too many to focus at the moment.

I saw the post yesterday when i was using mobile, but didnt have the time to reply cause i got sucked into Tyria.

Sadly Torchlight 2 isnt released today, except the release of the release date is happening in 2 days time.

Yea, at times, Guild Wars 2 does remind me of Diablo 2 as when ever i get a green loot, or their set item, i am always excited to find out whether can i use it or not.

Finally, and so be it, 20th of September will be the day i dump GW2 then.

Just watched TB's Torchlight 2 stream, wow, the game looks awesome.

Cant wait for the game now.

To be honest, what is there to spoil in an ARPG?

It has no story, no plot. Just keep killing the monsters. And it is nice chance to see how the classes work.

Outlander does look fun, but i think i will stick with Engineer.

Pretty much finished watching TB's stream.

I can confidently say that, Torchlight 2 is essentially everything what made Torchlight 1 amazing, but even better than Torchlight 1.

Love some of the new insane weapon attributes, like Augmented Weapon, Slience, and AoE Stun. Saw some nice synergy between items and skills in TB's stream. The engine does look amazing now, especially the new lighting system.

Hopefully this would mean that i will finally get a decent sequel to Diablo 2.

Yea, mine is redownloading too.

Since i am an engineer in real life, I'll probably play Engineer, as this is definitely the first time that i see an Engineer class that is fun and badass to play in a game. Instead of Engineers in other games that can barely defend himself and fix tanks/turrets/dispensers.

Yea, i will be playing as a tank, cause i like the dual handed abilities in the beta. It is so badass.

Probably secondary as a summoner with the medic bot to regen health. The spider mines are fun to kite enemies too.
