Why Torchlight is cartoony

Most new come always b****ing about this, but what Max said is, they would making different competitiveness representation on ARPG genre.
But what caught my attention was the intention to push high frame rate, using this cartoon style. It does make sense really,
you can just drool on that nice graphic for a while, but whet fast pace came in.. it does not really care anymore.
Torchlight is a fast pace ARPG game, and they nail that decision correctly. Plus, this compatible with older machine and pull more crowd to the game.

Why release near Borderland 2

Borderland 1st wast release almost the same as Torchlight 1 also. It seem Runic have something2 with Gearbox, as the conversation told.
Not sure the host is trolling or not with Max, but they talk about that there will be co-promotion with in both game.. such Borderland weapon coming in TL2 game, and vice versa.

There will be DLC, and it's Free

Im preety sure they did not say Mods.. its a DLC for Torchlight 2 .. and it will be free.

How many hour to complete main story quest

20 hrs if I heard correctly.

Cheating in multiplayer

Not much detail, they told that you can block certain pple from joining game only.

PVP and ladder

As some people may know, the game was not design to balance from class to another.. so, they dont say much and certaintly no ladder board.
PVP can be mod, but fighting just for the lulz only. No PVP means is to discourage people to cheat also.. Whast the point you killl a boss faster?

Guys, notice on the right panel..

When you click your friends, it will show currently when you imported him, and will have text "No Recent History"

I intrigue by the words "No Recent History" and the size on that panel ,and the loading progress bar above when you click

Maybe they will put the character stat in there... Runic did state before that they will give us the tool to inspect whether the player is cheating or not.

D3 accounts got hack because of those RMAH.

I said it before, those make-believe item, should stay with make-believe money/currency.

When you mix with real money, things get serious and out of hand yo.

Runic is far to wise, they avoid things that Blizzard did wrong and do what the community want, simple as that.

According to Max video that I posted, he said you can join anyone game level at any given time.

BUT, you wont get EXP from the higher level kill, hence.. power leveling is no no he said.

May I remind that on hardest (Nightmare), once dead... there will be no option to resurrect and you character will be a goner ..like forever.

If I remember correctly... when on early beta.. developer did said that mobs will be increase to scale with player party.

Meaning, there are more mobs in one place compare you run solo.

Im sorry to bring this up, but Im too old for people to "leeroy jenkins" my party. I had enough during my WoW gameplay years.
