btw want to ask something, if i bought 1, can i install in multiple PC? my intention to play it via lan with my bro le, so just wandering do i have to get 2 copies or 1 will do?
*
Not sure how LAN works, but for online play you need to log into a Runic account, meaning one game running at one time. If LAN doesn't require online login (I suspect so, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of having a LAN option) then you'll be good to go with one copy. For Steam version, you may have to set one client to Offline mode, logged into the same account on both PCs.

Also - there's no reason to pirate this game for anybody since there will be a demo released together with the game. If you like it, you'll just have to enter a key from your purchase and it will be unlocked into full version, with all progress intact. thumbup.gif

If I'm not mistaken a Master Enchanter will be able to enchant 4 times, but he's one of the rare ones. There's also enchanters with specific enchant only and then there's Socketeer.

Server will be host by players.. no dedicated server from Runic. They only help with matchmaking. (Right Fhaarkas?)

Yes.. you can use single player char with multiplayer, or other way around.

Yeap. P2P hosting. nod.gif

you know you can 'backup' your item somewhere else right?
*
Haha yeah. But you'll get bored fast not to mention the imba items with 100 bonuses. laugh.gif

What I did was remove the chance to disenchant and then severely increase the cost for each subsequent enchant. Works quite well. Enchanting for the 3rd of 4th time already cost somewhere around 60k. sweat.gif

I'm not on Reddit but apparently a Redditor greenwizard88 has made a handy Torchlight 2 Countdown app for Windows Phone 7. Now I have something to stare at on the train. laugh.gif

You don't need a CC to buy from Steam. Just a debit card will do. Dunno about other banks, mine is Maybank.

Hi guys. If you haven't, remember to go to Runic site [link] (the site should be pretty self-explanatory) to register your Runic Account and link it with your Steam account. You're gonna have to do this before being able to play online when the game is released so if you already have the game sitting in your Steam account it doesn't hurt to do it now.

I doubt there would be 3.5 million players hammering their login server this Thursday but better safe than sorry. Even the release date announcement brought their forum server down so yeah better safe indeed. laugh.gif

Not sure what you're talking about, but the game is not out yet and if you'd like to get a refund you're gonna have to move fast, fast, fast since there's little time left.

AFAIK it shouldn't require Runic account for LAN, which means you can just run Steam in offline mode on other PCs and be good to go.

Official clarification for single-copy LAN play has appeared in the wild.
QUOTE(Marsh)
QUOTE(Paws)
Yes, two identical copies can LAN.  Install game, turn Steam to offline mode, run game.

Paws is correct! We hope lots and lots of people have LAN parties!
