Actually I have the budget to buy Y580 but:

1) I don't really need FHD
2) GT650m performance only slightly less than GTX660m
3) I will carry my laptop around. So less weight better.
4) 14" is good enough for me. If you want big screen better buy 27" monitor.
5) I can use the save up money to upgrade the Y480 to SSD.

So that's why I pick Y480, worth for the price ^^

Yeah, it don't have any windows in your laptop. So u need to clean install the windows and drivers. They have Y480 with Windows 7 Home Premium.. Just add around rm150 to rm200 depends on seller..

so all the windows 7 disc and driver are all in the box ?

Guys, comment on gaming performance with y480? Not interested to find review out there, want some real gaming experience. Looking forward to get y480 for decent travel gaming device. More on games like Civ IV & V, The Sims, GTA IV and probably some FPS like BFBC2 or MW3. Thx for the reply.

I did try 304.79 and 304.48 (this was suggested in one forum), but my graphics WEI dropped to 6.7 from 7.2

And another thing, when I ran 3Dmark11, the first video showed alot of colourful artifacts, and the 2nd video was blank half way till the end, the 3rd one was totally blank, thus i still score P2635. Is this normal?

I did down clock the GPU Memory to 2450 MHZ with MSI AfterBurner and it fixed the problem

I agree with you, but now I'm more interested to know if whoever successfully OC their memory above 2500mhz is actually tried to play games and not seeing any square coloured artifacts, as I believe my GPU don't suffer from overheat even before down clock it, so I believe I could OC as well and run stress test without any problem, just a guess, I might be wrong.

Anyway, yesterday I see from Jayacom price list and I found that Corsair D3 Vengeance 1600 SODIMM only sell RM93!! But Jayacom Digital Mall said no stock....

Seems like Corsair Vengeance CAS latency is different with the default one
Corsair Vengeance CAS letency is 9-9-9-24 and default one is 8-9-10-11
