Hi guys, I'm planning to get Y480 DOS. I've gone through every single page of this thread and i noticed that it have some heat issue. any way to solve this problem without having to buy any other components? eg SSD, HDD caddy, CM U2 U3.
Any other issue on this particular model? last silly question, is it worth adding 1K extra to get the Y580 FHD, 8GB ram, and GTX660?

A U2 will solve the problem? Why they put a GTX660 in the 15". make it cost more only.. i want the Y480 spec with 15" haih..

There is no problem in it, just that they should have made a cheaper version of 15" IMO. Open it as in open the bottom cover?

Means the specifications like Y480 but with a 15" screen. so that it wont cost that much like a Y580. and the open thing i misunderstand you. your open means switch on the laptop for as long as i wanted. I thought you want me to open what. LOL
Can a GT650M support 2560x1440 res?

means your Y480 will take up another usb port for the extra 2 fans?
1 more thing!!! why your Y480 is orange 1. my friend got it black somehow looks like thet Y580. got 2 versions???

Nope his(my friend) one definitely comes with GT650m. Black one.

@exkaizen when u get yours? the orange 1 looks more groovy. the black 1 very sleek design. your Y480 got heating issues?
