The review from Wired gave only 5 out of 10 for Y480 and it stated the performance of i7 3610 is below par. Is it solely because no SSD/7200rpm hdd (which I can overlook) or the processor in Y480 is really below par? I think it's the former right?
I am planning to get Y580 though but I have mixed feelings.
sorry bro, cant help on tis matter, i am not sure if this is the one we are getting in malaysia..
i juz went and search for review.. most gv average only..
maybe others sifu can help to explain more detail..
even better if those who have purchased can gv a short personal review

i personally think u should go for a 7200rpm hard disk.. even better if u can get the ssd version
window 8 is coming.. i tink it would be a heavy system so for future proof, get a 7200 or ssd or both (^-^)
