Hi everyone. first time posting in here (but i always refer to this forum for info abt gadget) please help me out, cannot decide on a smartphone for the last 2 months. the more i google, more problem i read online about latest model so now i'm scared to buy (imagine spending 2000++ and then the phone freeze or no wifi or cannot use bluetooth like what i heard abt OneX)

1. Brand. Samsung, Google/LG/Asus, HTC. (prefer company that give fast update and good after sale service but i dont like Nokia or Sony)
2. Budget. anything up to 3k
3. Specs. android. high speed processor, and high speed network (3G) and wifi capability. will use for gaming and email and apps
4. Type/Size. as long as its not brittle and damaged easily

i've set my sight on HTC One X+, Note 2 and LG Nexus (4 or 7??) but online there are lotys of complaints about each of them so now scared to decide (HOX+ bluetooth problem, Note 2 people say got lag bcoz of UI, LG Nexus issue with the glass back cover easily broken near speaker)

Pls help!!!!!!! rclxub.gif icon_question.gif cry.gif notworthy.gif (no smiley for hair-pulling??)

By the way, which phone have stock android UI. I am familiar with stock UI (my daughter use IPRO tab the cheap one) but i never used HTC Sense or Samsung TouchWiz. are they any better or worst than stock? i heard skin UI can slow down the computer in the phone.

The only phone with stock UI is Nexus 4. And the only phone which is going to receice quick update and also update to the latest android version in the next 2 years is also Nexus 4.

If you are really that persistent on update speed and stock android, then only Nexus 4.  Regarding the glass back cover, just buy a sturdy and reliable cover to protect it will do. Not a big problem to me.

Btw, there's no UI Lag for Note 2. If i were to take a pick for you, i will choose Note 2. Mainly because of the
battery.

No HTC One X for me. tongue.gif

rclxms.gif thank you for your advice. I end up buying Galaxy SIII and a Blackberry Curve 3G. Initially I have decided on Note 2, but at the shop I went they don't have black color, only the white one (I dont like white and some more the white one is more expensive) so I end up buying SIII. Now mulling over the idea of giving the SIII to my wife and buy Note 2. I only need to wait for my Bonus drool.gif
