QUOTE(okf987 @ Feb 13 2013, 03:01 PM) Hi lowyaters I am looking for a phone with very strong battery life. 1. Brand: Open to any 2. Budget.: 500-2k 3. Specs.: Nothing specific just battery life and durability 4. Type/Size.: Ok with big or small Any brand is fine budget is flexible between 500-2k+. Just looking for a phone that can act as a good gps replacement as I would travel long distance in a car so battery life is crucial. And still get all the goodies like good cam, durability, etc.. galaxy note 2 is your best choice else nokia lumia 920 (better camera and durability, can act as hammer)

QUOTE(Wyxor @ Feb 13 2013, 07:05 PM) Need some advice on getting my first smartphone! BrandAny brand will do. BudgetShould be 500-1300 I hope. Haven't discussed the budget with my dad yet. SpecsI will most probably use my phone to browse the web, read e-books and stuff like that. Don't think that I am much of an apps-guy. » OS: For some reason, I feel like I would like to use Windows OS rather than Android. Android would still be fine. » Camera: A decent one should be good. » Battery life: A longer battery life is better. SizeMedium sized I guess. Don't really like big sized ones. Thanks in advanced. windows phone then top up get lumia 820 android then try look for xperia tx or htc one x but no idea windows phone got e-book to read or not @@

QUOTE(coklatua @ Feb 14 2013, 10:45 AM) 1. Brand. Doesnt matter. 2. Budget. Below RM500. I have 200 rebate also. 3. Specs. Doesnt matter as long as it have a great support from the manufacturer or on XDA. But I wish can get the most powerful smart phone under RM500. 4. Type/Size. (Candybar, Clamshell etc...) prefer candybar and slim but it doesn't matter if the spec is powerfull. is quite hard to find a phone with got PKB + got xda developer support try galaxy mini 2
