Current phone is 4" and my wife's is 3.5" and I found it's really hard for me to browse internet and typing messages with 3.5" screen

4" then go for s advance... dual core phone..

but lumia keyboard is small. if u go black, never go back. same goes, if u been using bigger keyboard then u never find the smaller one

I think try them first also hard to say, since new that time maybe not used to it.
I find it harder to type on lumia 800 cuz I'm too used to the keypad position of my old phone.
But I'm confident I'll like it soon.

I need your help to brainstorm a phone for my mother, her phone was snatch along with her handbag yesterday at pasar. I promised to get her a new phone today. Here are some facts and criteria

Target: An housewife auntie
Age: 48
IT knowledge: Close to 0
Favorite Color: Red or anything bright or shinny
Handphone experience: 5 units - all standard os
Character: She likes flashy stuff or show that she is up-to-date or fashionable

My poor pocket: only have 1K

She thinks standard os is out of fashion. So, I need to get her a smartphone which must be very much idiot proof. I genuinely want to get away from her never ending "how to" questions as much as possible. What is your suggestions?

Beside sms and phone calls, she might use the camera and music function, and play some simple game ie Bejewels

I'm looking at Nokia N9 but not sure if it's suitable for me, please advise.

My usage:
- camera
- simple web browsing via wifi only (because I'm using prepaid only)
- skype/watsapp
- bluetooth file transfer
- tethering with iPad 2 when outside

I have read many reviews on this phone and it was unique on its own, but those reviews have been around for a while so I'm not quite sure how well it stands against more current line ups. And what's the fair price for a new one now?
