well which one would you recommend? out of this 5? how much is HTC one X?

Brand: Any type will do, as long as it's a solid build
Budget:RM400~RM500
Specs: Wi-Fi and good web browsing as well as good texting
Type: Would prefer one with a keyboard (especially QWERTY), otherwise a decently sized touch screen (I have slightly big thumbs)

I am going to get the first smart phone of my life.... My 4 years ++ W910i officially dead....

1. Brand.
Sony (is this brand considered totally outrun by the other brand ?), Motorola, HTC (never doin research on this brand)

2. Budget.
<1500 (The cheaper the better since i am still a student. )

3. Specs.
Good camera, wide and clear screen, GPS, durable and problem free (since i hope to use tis phone for another 4 years like my previous one)

4. Type/Size.
Wide Screen. Wont mind about the thickness....

believe me, once you start to own the smartphone, you will try to buy the new phone at least one for every 3 years

Problem free -, Its depend on the phone itself , I still remember my friend use the W910 but it's not long lasting, after 2 months , her W910 is dead and cannot turn on, but then.. she claims the warranty [Midland Set],

so , problem free is almost impossible especially for a smartphone, but you can hope that, at least no major problems occur to your new phone..

other thing, you need to decide what OS that you want to use 

Blackberry OS ? Android OS ? Symbian OS ? Windows Phone OS ? iOS[Apple] ? other OS ?

Hmm ..can recommend me a smartphone in the RM 1k budget ? My requirement:

- don't need games, just want to run utility apps, gps
- good battery life
- good display
- easy of use
- good build quality

Brand: Nokia, SE, BB preferable
Candy bar, good battery life, size wise about SE Vivaz no bigger or heavier than that.
Mainly will be use to text, call and check email. On limited data plan. Good camera quality and speedy internet browsing a plus, not necessity. Entertainment and games not that important.
Budget: Max RM1200

for me lumia > iphone. expertise of software, will choose the lumia. ios is normal. coz also got at ipad n ipod touch. lumia not the same. even got other brand using wp7. not the same as lumia. something special with lumia itself.
