Looking back at this comment i think u really have the car to let the car ferment about 50 years more in order to get any returns out of it. Japanese cars never had any resale value unless its a historic race car or made famous by an anime cartoon. In fact the mentioned 2.2 mil actually is a depreciated price if it is registered. When it was available in UK the price was 500K pound. More than anything offered at that time. Even in Us it is very expensive. And LFA isn't really a hot selling car when it was first launched. Last 2 years i checked online, the car isn't even sold out yet. Maybe it is now. But its a very slow process. Much like what Bugatti is facing now with the Veyron.

All i'm liking on the LFA is the engine and exhaust and maybe that fancy robotized meter cluster. Nothing else even the carbon chassis or the Prius drag could excite me. And the buyer would probably looking at the tech rather than looks to buy it. Toyota should have save up and made a 4WD hybrid Supra than this. Or make a 4WD hybrid Soarer if they want to keep the Lexus emblem.

lexus don't have the heritage the history and macam macam and asking for that price when new it's mad but years to come the value will rise for a limited production car

still the V10 music is spectacular..probably the only thing i like about it lol

Lexus didnt make any profit of every LFA that have been sold.

McLaren P1 is better

who cares what FC it does, this is why ferrari got it right..the batteries and electric motor is there just for performance..no electric mode only nonsense the batteries and the V12 work together giving orgasm to the driver

they always say this..ferrari and porsche spend alot too developing their limited run high tech supercars and they didnt say "we spend alot doods we lose money giving you are very special limited run cars doods..see how good our heart is" ..without the confidence thats why they come out with such marketing..but who can blame them..few hundred thousand dollars for a lexus is very hard to swallow for many haha

918 also can do that too but offer more. To me, Laferrari is actually not that nice looking. The silhouette looks a lot like Marussia B2. At certain angles it just looks weird. With a Porsche, u know its a Porsche. The only thing Ferrari have left for it these days seems to be the color red.

porsche is a porsche a ferrari is a ferrari..both very successful making fast cars but 918 and laferrari is very different..the same formula but very different..one with a V12(because people still want a V12 ferrari) mate to batteries to exhilarate the experience but still very ferrari which deliver astonishing performance not thinking about environment or how much fuel it can save..porsche as always the engineering the clever brains creating a great car that is the 918..very heavy but still very fast and the complicated electronics only germans can build

Actually P1 is oversold on some things. Yes its probably the best looking among the current 3, with wings and all. But i wonder why does it even need a charging inlet if it isn't going to make miles with it. I only know that all auto companies try to make some energy efficient or low emmisions ratings to save on taxes. So the conclusion from me seems like the P1 hybrid is like after thought. Why not call it electrical overboost?

U know when Top Gear had it and Jeremy was glossing over it, few months later everything seems to went south. Actually when the car was revealed 900hp RWD.... i was already thinking... damn the limit is breached and they has super fancy wing and tires to make it work. Even then its over the top. I doubt anyone with super reflexes could make it work for them. Super cars nowdays are already on cheat mode anyway since the GTR came about. I doubt the P1 could do harm to any of them. Still no one track these 3 side by side properly yet.

Oh yeah, i always call Laferrari La FAILrrari, not because of anything but the design that is meh.....

because of current F1 rules so ferrari and mclaren will surely build car like this from the start and also the advancement of batteries and electric motor they can build a car based on combustion and electric propulsion and get it to work together..the same goes to porsche with their lemans effort

GTR magic piece is the 4wd the electronics that give all the traction and why it's so fast. These 3 have all the advance computers but still they know how to build a drivers car that reward the drivers hard work. The philosophy is different how they build their cars. Whats excite me not the looks but the tech inside it..take the now tech make it better to make the car faster.

ferrari..either u love it or hate it but i applaud them for still chuck in a V12 in their cars..the kinda engine consider dinosaur now but who doesn't love a V12 revving to 9K..ok except for people who drive prius

These are seriously hypercars. Well, especially Koenigsegg One:1(1 over 1 of power to weight ratio, its a Megacar!).

But I think I will still go for the P1, if only I can at least afford it.

If talking about power to weight ratio,I only think about Ariel atom and caterham r500.
Pagani Zonda R is the best,in my mind.
You can go for the 650s if P1 is too much for you.
