In the new Phases guards are still under SD but the more mature phases i think they organise on their own with great difficulty to get maximum participation. I am still ok as SD guard are still around. Previously there was a really good old uncle who was very thorough. Now however there is a young guy who just lets all the cars in and most of the time not there. (Clover / Ivy phase entrance). I complained to SD and they said they will look into it but so far I do not see much changes. Now i hv invested in CCTV system as well so i can check when my alarm triggers.

Those who are looking also may be able to find gd one's here. I called Desmond for an appointment in 2012 when looking to get a quote but he never showed up (thank god) and another guy from Stilux also was operating in DA but was very responsive to my requests. But his price was expensive. Then i got another old Chinese uncle contractor who did a relatively gd job and was cheap for concrete works, plastering and basic plumbing and electric works. He did most of the work himself with some assistance from an Indian worker and tiling expert.

Then i did the alarm, auto gate, grilles, mosquito netting,glass awning and  etc etc individually. More work but satisfaction

GRASSWORK...reminded me of a indian uncle, with a motorcycle. He was so persistent that I followed his bike to have a look at his work around the housing area, while I was having talks with my other contractor. I gave in when he showed his leg injury he got from an accident, and said that he's now relying on this to cari makan via HALAL means.

He took down my details, and asked for 50 bucks to do my compound...God knows why I gave him the money, now never pick up calls...and even pick up calls also he will not show up despite of promising to do so.
