Used to be Apple is an industry leader where other manufacturers try to catch up with them. Now it seems Apple is catching up WITH A PHONE RELEASED HALF A YEAR BEFORE IT.

Of course iPhone5 will be better than S3. No doubt about it. Half a year to prepare, man. If it's not better, Tim can go jump off a cliff.

The correct thing to say would be, "Foxconn CEO Says The iPhone 5 Will Be Better Than Samsung's Galaxy S III and Yet-Unreleased SIV". Where are your ambitions, Apple?!
Let me get this right. iPhone 3.5" screen 4x4 icons. Note 5.3" screen and you still expect 4x4 icons? of cos, you can change to 4x4 if you want... there is a CHOICE.

Steve knew that to make a successful phone, he has to target the majority of users. And the majority of users are SIMPLE PEOPLE who are afraid of complex things. He was right. Look how well iOS sold.

You do know that iPhone5 cannot use current iPhone chargers, right?

Phone specs IS a dependency to determine the user experience. 4S is smoother than the already-so-damn-smooth 4. No?

Exactly, that's why I think this Terry what's-his-name Foxconn CEO has something against Apple. To say that iPhone5 will put S3 to shame is so insulting to Apple! To compare a new phone with an old phone! WTFBBQ

By the time iPhone5 launches, S3 is half a year old already. Half a year is a long time for mobile phones. Should compare with upcoming S4 instead.

My Galaxy Wonder and LG 2X were both made in Korea. Written at the back. Battery finished in China.

That depends on how you look at it. It's like shares - price drop, some may buy, some may sell. For me, price drop fast is a good thing becos I buy 2nd-hand phones. Wait till it drops some, buy one, use for a few months, sell back and rugi a bit only (<RM100). Repeat with whichever newer phone I like, and play with new things. If I use 2k to buy iPhone4S, the price doesn't drop much, and the technology also stands still for 1 whole year (the interface still from iPhone3 )

Of all the offensive statements here targeted at Samsung, this one takes the cake. So what is the correct way to pronounce Galaxy? Is it your way? American way? British way? Bahasa way? Korean way? This really reaffirms the opinion that iFans are a bunch of arrogant SOBs. I never believed it much but now I do. Fans who think they know it all and act like they're above others. POS.

No, I didn't read this whole thread. I just shared an article I read on Flipboard. I don't hate Apple nor Android, I use both. You seem to read a lot between the lines, maybe a bit too much. If want cloud storage, there's also cross-platform Dropbox, Skydrive, Google Drive, to name a few... why limit to iOS's iCloud?

For once, I agree with you. Just look at the iOS interface, man!

Forget BT. Once iPhone5 comes with NFC, someone will write an app which allows transfer of files between any devices with NFC.

I'm quite sure it will work between Android and iOS. I mean, these stuff are supposed to be cross platform! PC, iOS, Android, all the same.

If you mean check CCTV, Android has it as well.

But if that is true, won't the Galaxy Note be a FAILED product? They're even coming out with Note 2. Obviously there are people who demand big screens and yet do not want to carry a tablet around.

You seem very worked up about all this. Maybe S3 is a good marriage of big screen with quad-core. I also can imagine Apple coming up with 4.3" iPhone in the future and people will buy it and say it's the best ever. What's the big deal?
