want to find out, when new mac os comes out, usually how long it will take before a MBP comes preloaded with it from mac resellers? i went to one lately and the info they gave is they still have a lot of stock for current MBP and it would take months before they replenish one with Mountain Lion. Am thinking to cut the hassle of reinstalling stuff since i have waited for quite a while anyway.
*
it would take a longer time for resellers to have those preinstalled ML MBP.
apple will push the old stocks to them and apple will be the first ones to rollout MBP preinstalled with ML.
within 2-3 weeks? smile.gif

Hmm.. thanks.
Anyhow, will try to dig more about the OS transition as i read it might be a better choice to get Lion as the default OS as a fall back plan. Would it be better?
*
it actually depends on the user, my point of view is i believe 10.8 would be better for the RMBP.
it had many issues on 10.7, so I'm going to wait for it to be preinstalled with 10.8.
it saves my time of updating, transfer files and etc.

For those owning the MBP RD now, do you guys go for 256GB SSD or 512GB?

It costs about RM2000 more just to upgrade from 256 to 512GB?

Appreciate any feedback...thanks
*
mostly 256GB, only a few on 512GB
