QUOTE(shapa2011 @ Jun 27 2012, 05:32 PM) Hello all u can update it via sony pc companion or sony update service whether it's ori or ap set ..Just got Xperia Pro today, bought it from Terry (x132755) , AP set red. wish to root and upgrade it, but for now I like to get used to the phone in its original condition first.. couple of questions, which u guys recommended to do first, root the android or upgrade to ICS ? since mine not ori, how to upgrade to ICS ? I assume I can't use PC companion right ? thanks for the answer plz add me into the Xperia pro owner Added on June 27, 2012, 5:53 pmpeeling the back cover of this phone is pain in the ass to me...feel like already snap the cover when hearing the 'crack' sound... or u just can flash the ftf file from xda using flashtool .. better upgrade to ics first before root .. if u root and upgrade to ics it'll be useless since upgrade ur rom will delete all your tweak .. including root .. btw , welcome to the club bro !! QUOTE(puterabemi @ Jun 29 2012, 07:17 PM) h/w kb didn't work? i accidently found way to solve this. no, actually not a real solution, but while waiting for the dev to sort this thing out, maybe you all can use this method. yeah ..if you change the display brightness, the h/w kb will light up. so what i do is, i put brightness toggle at notification drawer, then everytime i use h/w keyboard, press brightness toggle and the h/w keyboard will light up. well pic speak thousand words. ![]() i know about that .. i mean not work is not work as it should .. i already put the brightness button at the status bar .. but i'm not prefer this solution so much because had to lock screen first to turn off the backlight .. only use it for emergency though .. hope it would fix it soon .. coz i don't like so much about the on screen qwerty keyboard .. so , i want to use h/w keyboard instead .. or do you have any apps suggestion for phonepad ? i used to it rather than qwerty .. QUOTE(puterabemi @ Jul 2 2012, 11:58 PM) sygic, papago m9 - offline gps bro , can u tell me how to use offline gps such as papago ?wisepilot, google maps - online map waze - social "gps" no need to turn off agps, just turn off data is enough. im dont have data plan too but i never turn off agps because i'm constantly on wifi. data off by go to mobile network settiings and untick "data enable". otherwise if u insist to turn off agps, go to "location service" setting, and untick "google's location service" 1st few hour using gps will usually hard to locate you. just wait for a few hour/days especially when you turn off agps. after that usually locking gps only take several seconds or minutes. and where to download the maps etc ?? |
