Yes.

Here's the link to the mod.

However it is for MPDI. I think it'll work with HPDI as well, but I leave this for you to try it. I've used this mod to my wife's Xperia Mini Pro.

Great news for Xperia Neo/Pro users!

There is a new lib for Adreno 205 GPU from here

I've managed to do some benchmarks before and after applying the mod.

The results are very very interesting.

Benchmark with Antutu Bench 2.5.1

Attached Image

Benchmark with GLBenchmark 2.1.5

Note: I overclocked my CPU to 1.5GHz and found out the overclock doesn't effect much on some of the GPU score.

First hand experience:
Immediately upon reboot complete, Home launcher feels much smoother and snappier than usual! I can safely say a very obvious difference.
Scrolling in the browser also much smoother.
No impact on camera performance so far.

ICS only. Ginger do not jelly ..............!

Yes! Must be rooted. Can be used on locked BL.

Tested on stock ICS roms. Not recommended for Cyanogenmod.

Sorry late reply...

Use the latest one (V3). The file that I attached is V1 although I can't feel any different with them yet. I am using V3 now, no problem playing games.

Actually I am having headache to find most of newer Xperias doesn't have removable storage. To me its a very important feature and since flash memory are getting cheaper.

As long as have 1GB RAM or more, MicroSD slot (better if can support >64gb SDXC), multi core, good camera at least 8MP, secondary camera ... I prefer Sony more than Samsung S3 or Iporn for my next phone.

I am not the type that always buy the latest or changing phone. Just need phone that suits my work and activity. Only change phone if phone dies or really necessary only.

Currently my Neo already pass 1 year in my hand and still works very well.

Just bought myself a 40 inch 3D LED TV lately. Connecting my Neo to the TV using HDMI .. although not fullHD is so amazing!

More cool stuffs with the new update .587 such as supporting small apps, lockscreen, ported from the 2012's Xperias; if you are rooted.

I've tried V6 supercharger and it make UI really snappy.

Unfortunately, RAM isn't enough for my favorite game and heavy surfing and have to enable swap for running memory hungry apps.

I've tried Ultimate HD 3.02 and with that I feel smoothness compared to stock rom instantly.

However I changed to Zelly Cream 2.5.2 and it has more configuration than UltimateHD.

There's one Lockscreen apk which uses very big memory footprint and it is also not compatible with the stock widget (however it came with its customized widgets).
