guys anyone have suggestions on where to get display cases to get locally? this is my first time collecting nendos, bought the fate stay night set along with the extension set, now looking for suitable display case to place them in.
*
If all you have are the Puchi FSN and Extension sets, you can probably fit them all into a small case like the W400UV or LW400UV. The only place I know of in KL which still has them is the old Graffiti Toys in Times Square. They moved down to the 1st Floor IT centre in Times Square (but I can't remember their new name). The smaller cases such as those sold in XL shop won't be able to fill the FSN + Extension sets.

Tokutokuya in Ikano (next to the IT Mart) also has some really nice cheap cases of various sizes (and these are tall enough to keep regular Nendos, unlike the Daisho display cases). The largest one at RM16.90 might be big enough to keep the entire FSN puchi + extension sets. I haven't tried, but it looks like it might fit - it's only about half the size of a W400UV, but much cheaper. They're also pretty airtight. The medium case at RM13.90 is also very nice, although it won't fit the FSN sets you have. I managed to squeeze my Bakuman trio of Saiko, Shujin and Eiji into it, complete with table and all. Just need to somehow squeeze Miho in there now. The big one can probably fit 5-6 regular Nendos.

If you intend to have a nice solid collection of regular Nendos in the future as well then the Detolf is definitely the popular choice. Even many shops use it for display.

ah i see, thanks for the info. such helpful people i come across in this thread, glad i posted here.

--Edited--
sorry, have a noob question, when you say the W400UV and LW400UV can fit all of them into it, you mean both sets together or one display case per set?
*
My guess is that either case will be able to fit both sets in them. Even the Tokutokuya large case might be able to, I'm not sure. I'll see if I have the time later to try them out. The only downside with the Tokutokuya set is that you can't open it from the front (you have to lift the entire casing up from the base) while the W400UV and LW400UV have a front door.

Well I did some research, and found this:

http://ittoys116.blogspot.com/search/label/Display%20Case

But the display cases shown in this link doesn't have model names, only dimensions, so can let me know which ones can fit the entire set by listing the dimensions please?
*
Sorry, was away in Singapore for a couple days so didn't reply. Managed to pick up K-On! Puchi TBSishop version and K-On! Nendo Live Stage Mio/Ritsu sets while down there!! smile.gif The Mio/Ritsu Live stage set was only SGD120, which is just about RM300 given the weak exchange rate now!

The W400UV is 394 x 182 x 166mm, and you can see it here:-

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

And here's a pic of it with Nendo Puchis. My FSN Puchi sets are stuck in various cases which I was lazy to open (the XL-Shop ones. They don't open in front and require you to lift the entire case, annoying if you have things standing on top) but FSN + Extension should be 16 Puchis + 1 Nendo (Berserker) and so I used 16 Puchis and 1 regular Nendo to show what it looks like.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Berserker might need slightly more space than Nendo Saber because of his big arms, but there's more than enough space in here for that. I've also tried stuffing them into the large Tokutokuya Round Display Case, and they do fit.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

This case might be better if you want to save space and it's 345 x 134 x 133mm. They look quite bad in this pic because the base is flat, and so you can't really see the ones behind, but iirc Tokutokuya does have a version with a 2-level base which is raised at the back. No versions with 3 levels, though, but given the size of the case I doubt a triple-level base could hold Nendo Puchis stably. The single-level Round Display Case is much better used for the display of regular Nendos, though, like this:-

If you used regular Nendos with less accessories (like without Ritsu's drums and Tsumugi's keyboard) you could probably fit 7 Nendos in one case, although I'd guess that anything more than 6 would look cramped. There's also a medium Round Display Case which is 214 x 134 x 133mm, and it fits 3 Nendos really nicely. Could probably fit 4, maybe 5 normal Nendos which don't have accessories (Mashiro's table takes up a ton of space).

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I'd try and get the W400UX (The LW is the same, just with 2 levels, but 3 levels would be much better for Puchi. For regular Nendos you can try the 2-level model) from BTS if possible (they should still have some stock, although some might be cracked - maybe ask for a discount if all they have are the cracked ones). If they're sold out, then the Tokutokuya large Round Display Case is a good option. I don't have a 2-level base to show you, though, sorry!

ahhh thanks thanks, this reply was definitely worth the wait haha. ah and you mentioned to get the case from BTS, what or where is that?
*
BTS stands for Berjaya Times Square - the toyshop on the 1st Floor, inside the IT Zone. It used to be called Graffiti Toys on the 5th Floor, but they moved downstairs a few months ago.

I think I ought to give them a call to verify if they have stocks because I won't want to go all the way there to find out the stocks are no longer available.
*
Good idea - here's their website, and it has their new phone too. It's been renamed to IT Toys.

I've already sent an e-mail asking them regarding the stock availability and they said it's still available, so I guess I'll head there after work today. As for the link, my previous link actually was from their latest blog here: http://ittoys116.blogspot.com/ . But nevertheless, thanks so much for your help.
*
Oh, I didn't even notice that that was Graffiti's new blog. Hope it all fits nicely and snugly. By the way, there's a new Fate/ Hollow Ataraxia Puchi set out just this past month... You'll probably need a second case if you want to store those as well!! *tempt*

Cant wait to go back and unbox lol. 6 months worth of Nendoroids
*
I'm still undecided myself on this poison! Fate Hollow Ataraxia was never made into an anime, was it? I don't play the visual novels, and so I don't really know who people like Bazett and Caren are, and the other figures in the set, such as Rider, are dressed in ways which are totally unfamiliar to me. They should make it into an OVA or something - I'm surprised they haven't tried to milk the Fate franchise as much as they could - I heard that Bazett and Caren are quite popular characters.

6 months of Nendoroids!! shocking.gif I think you'll just sit there staring at them not knowing where to start when every box is calling out to you equally loud. biggrin.gif

That would be nice. After watching Fate Zero and Irisviel I suddenly connect with Ilya a lot. Sadly my strongest memory of her in FSN is how Gilgamesh rips her heart out, so having her own anime might be a nice way to honour Irisviel and Kiritsugu.

LOL!!! Anyways, I was kinda wondering, how much does the W400UV roughly costs?
*
I can't remember, sorry - but iirc they weren't cheap. The boxes I have don't have any price tag on them - you can call IT Toys and ask them.

Bro I just got the W400UV earlier, but to my disappointment, after spending the RM110 on it, it still seems like Berserker can't fit into it. sad.gif
*
Try making him stand on the middle level without the stand. Berserker can stand quite easily on his own feet especially if you use his hands and blade to support him. With the stand he's quite hard to stuff into enclosed spaces.

This is how Berserker stands in my case - it's a small XL-Shop case which is about the same height as the W400UV, and also three levels. Sorry if he's hard to see, but that case is surrounded by tons of stuff I'm not keen to move as yet!

She comes with the first two + a shouting expression I didn't post, but the faceplate from the last picture is from another nendoroid (but dunno whoooooo). She's from a TYPE-MOON game I believe.
*
Oh, that's not that bad. The first two are nicer than the last one - especially the second one. It's so.. K-On! smile.gif

QUOTE(Nichol90 @ Sep 19 2012, 09:21 PM)
Please, yes. Why don't we have a legit Tohsaka Rin nendoroid yet anyway???
*
I'd buy her in a flash! Saber is the only FSN Nendo available, isn't she? I don't recall any of the other FSN characters having their own Nendo.

I just saw this at XL-Shop today, and she's REALLY cute!!!

http://www.goodsmile.info/product/en/3534/...+Annelotte.html

I have no idea who she is, and I've just managed to squeeze the last of my Nendo boxes in the cupboard nicely. I have no room for this, but the poison is so so strong. She's supposed to be Queen's Blade, I think, but she looks like she could give Saber a run for her money in terms of cute armoured Nendo girl. Anyone have her, and is she as nice as she looks in the box?

Waaah! Extremely cute and nicely coloured too. Why does 2P have elvish ears, though?

2P colours are really cool - I saw a 2P Reina in Singapore last week, but although it was miles better than the original Reina, it wasn't nice enough to buy (Reina, just like the other sexy QB characters, just isn't a very nice Nendo design). If they had a 2P Tomoe or Alleyne I'd have grabbed it in a heartbeat. Like Nichol says, having the 2 Annelottes side by side would be really nice.

QUOTE(qwer312 @ Sep 20 2012, 09:54 PM)
the weak point of all queens blade nendo is their face design are identical...other than that is nice
*
Not all of them are that bad. I currently have Alleyne, Nyx, Tomoe and Airi, and they're all adorable - Not sure about Airi, but the other 3 have quite unique faces. The bulk of the QB line are sorely unsuitable for the chibi Nendo treatment, though - the girl with the eyepatch is arguably the worst.

Anthony and Charlotte are adorable, but I wish Walpurgis was bigger. Having said that, I'm not sure if people would buy her if she was really big.

Today I kena poison big time.. I don't even know who Tachibana Hibiki is, but that black face is just a MUST get. Sadly (or luckily) I didn't have enough cash on me and no time to go tekan tekan.

Would the Stairs Base (169 x 85 x 100mm) and Flat Base (21 x 7 x 8 cm) fit well for regular nendo?
*
From experience, the Daiso cases aren't tall enough for regular Nendos. If you really want these little cases for Nendos, get those in Tokutokuya (Ikano, next to TRU) - it'll cost more than RM5 (around RM15, I think) but your Nendos will fit nicely. To be safe bring a Nendo with you, and see for yourself at Daiso and Tokutokuya.

I don't even like Madoka (I skipped Madoka and Sakura, but got the other 3) but this one is a must get... will look so cool with the other 3!! Might have to get Sakura Kyouko as well then... means Homura must lose her bow and go back to pistol, though.

Does anyone know how to clip the wingthing which comes with Homura Akemi School Uniform onto the stand? I've tried doing it the whole night now, and I just can't do it. It's supposed to clip onto the horizontal concave (it must be concave i.e. smiling, otherwise the end won't go under her hair and plug into her back) bar between the joint and her hair, but it just won't fit - the hair gets in the way. Are the wings are also supposed to be concave (i.e. folding towards Homura's back) rather than convex (folding away)? The only pic on the box (and on the net) shows it from the back and the pic isn't that clear on how to fit it on properly. Can Homura pose with the bow and arrow in drawn-bow pose and still have the wings, or does she have to stand still, at attention, facing straight, before the hair will allow enough room for the wings to clip onto the stand?

AAAAHHH Bride Dead Master! Thanks for that pic, means I still have time to grab a TV Animation version of BRS to pair with her later.

Although I do struggle to see any significant difference between the Nendo BRS versions - is it just the hood and the lack of scar on the torso?

Some of the Queen's Blade line are really nice, but quite a lot of them are horrible when they try to be sexy. I have the same problem with Inori - she's so cute, but I still cannot decide if she's a suitable Nendo - all that flesh on the chest feels a bit wrong.
