QUOTE(rainbow6 @ Jun 24 2012, 11:21 AM) Hello all, chassis foam is not the right material to use if one would consider improving comfort properties. If really want to insulate out road noise and other unwanted noise, sound deadening + insulflex is the best choice. Just got a brand new FLX for my kids. Well not really that new, maybe 150KM already after 2 days. Haven't done anything to the car yet except put a cheap sound insulator for the hood immediately since the hood has no cover at all and not sure if its working or not since I have no clue how it sounds without it. Anyway, I'm thinking of doing a chassis foaming but would like to ask here if anyone has done it and whether there is any improvement to the cabin noise and deadening effect after foaming. And what else to upgrade for comfort instead of performance? Appreciate input from FLX owners. Thanks QUOTE(forgot_86 @ Jun 24 2012, 12:45 PM) workshop? |

Advantage of a CeeVeeTee:
despite the whole car is full of catering stuffs, it doesn't feel 'very heavy". The car can still go effortlessly with slight tap on the throttle. Eventhough my car smells weird with all those spaghetti, cookies and sandwiches smell, I love my car even more. This weekend gonna bring it for service, alignment and treat it with a personal car wash... This post has been edited by V12Kompressor: Jun 27 2012, 04:06 PM |

QUOTE(dares @ Jun 27 2012, 04:54 PM) Wahlau, if someone put catering food in my car, I'll sakit hati like mad lol... I generally expect a car to serve the master, not the other way round...But I always pamper it with tender loving care after some heavy work with it... |

QUOTE(GRexer @ Jun 29 2012, 08:27 PM) Was wondering if anyone knows if the "Fire Red' for FLX SE have paint issues like the one on the Prevé? Seems like the ones on the Prevé is discontinued due to paint issues and I'm still waiting for a Fire Red FLX SE. no such issues reported yet. I have one FLX SE fire red ready stock. QUOTE(dares @ Jun 29 2012, 09:04 PM) So far I haven't heard any complains or issues. I'm not even sure the Saga's Fire Red is the same paint as the Preve's Fire Red. Saga fire red is darker a bit. Even the Tranquility Black on Preve and Tranquility Black on Saga is different. QUOTE(mieza @ Jun 29 2012, 09:10 PM) paint on bumper and body not matching. Some even reported peeling of paint on the bumper. |
